Appliance repair debacle Day and Night Repairs 078 740 2571
Day and night repairs 0787402571. There are several different company names linked to this cell number all offering repair services. Chris came to do a fridge repair at my home and was quoting varying prices and then the usual trick "if you pay me now I will reduce the price drastically". He got the fridge working but before he left I remarked that the fridge was making a loud noise. He said it was the gas in the pipes and that it would settle shortly. Well the next day the noise continues and when I phoned him he said it was the gas in the pipes and there was nothing he could do and cut the call off. The fridge did not make this noise before the repair was required. Do not use him.

Scammers
Do not use them. They wanted to charge me R2 500 for a new compressor for my fridge (about the price of a new fridge). They removed the compressor with the idea that they would come back with a new one later (which, in hindsight, makes no sense at all). After they left, I had a feeling they might be scammers (on account of the flip-flops they wore and they did not even give their names). I then read all the terrible reviews on HelloPeter and decided to phone them and cancel. I (luckily) only paid a call-out fee of R280, they said they would bring back the old compressor, but they never did (so they decided to keep my property ...).

Scammers

Dishonest Sharks
These people are dishonest. They came to fix our dishwasher. They took it away and supposedly repaired it overnight. They said that the replaced the motor and mother board. They charged my husband R2800 and never gave him a receipt. Needless to say when we used it for the first time it was still not working. My husband has tried for 2 weeks now to get them to respond with no luck. We had no choice but to buy a new dishwasher. I got a mechanical engineer to take the old dishwasher apart to check it parts were actually replaced. Obviously they were not. In fact all part stamp dated year for production.

Beware of these guys!There website is www.dayandnightrepairs.co.za Please be aware of these guys you'll be very disappointed There service is very very bad. They repairs only lasted a day and I'm still waiting for them to return ,the guy keeps saying his busy. I have to get the repairs done again by someone else. On there web page they claim to provide a free call out fee which is a lie They over charge once they arrive and charge a call out fee.

Bad dangerous service
Please note I have paid this company R1000 bucks to repair a short on my stove and repair the regulator on my stove for one of the plates. The short was never repaired and now we get shocked when with the water taps when the stove is on. The repair man is not willing to fix the short and he even said it's fine if I report him to the police. He( M.Zinyama) will not repair my stove and I need to pay again for something he did not fix. Be very careful of this bad workmanship. He is a fraud.

When you call them they indicate that they charge no call out fee and quote you R550 to do a gas refill. When they arrived at my home a gas refill was now R2000. They were agressive. My wife was afraid to be in the same room as them.
