Hello Peter.com please publish this review about Day1 health. These people are ******. I have a policy with them. I went to see two doctors paying R1500(consultation and scan, excluding medication) and R1000 respectively. They promised to pay when the receptionist called them. They said I should pay from my pocket and claim later. I did that yesterday, they're response is now that my plan is inactive for this month and therefore they cannot process a refund. The premiums were not paid this month only and the refunds are for the previous month. Why do they refuse to pay? What if I am no longer interested in their services hence the missed premium. These people are forcing me to pay June's premium for them to be able to reimburse me funds that were not for June. This is pure *****! Again, sometime in the year, I spoke to Rochelle on the phone before seeing the specialist and she did confirm that they'll pay R2000 towards that and when I inquired again, she sent me a recording that was not the one she confirmed R2000 and because I didn't want to talk, I was silent about it. When I called her I was driving with my kids in the car, and I don't touch my phone while driving, it was on handsfree and everybody was listening. These people are ****** and I call this *****! I want my money not stories! Even if I were to request all the recordings it shows that she'll eave behind the one in question.
These people haven't paid Life Kingsbury hospital for a last year's admission,they say there was no authorisation. How? I was picked by an ambulance to this hospital and the crew called them in my presence and he was told to take me to a Life Hospital not Melomed as Melomed was 5minutes away. I was taken to Claremont which is more than 30mins from where I was, as it is their network hospital...only now they're chanting that there was no authorisation. The Drs at the emergency are calling me day in day out for the services rendered and I do have emergency cover with these people. I wonder if I were to get sick this year and be taken to an emergency room if aren't they gonna count this last year's payment as this year's. How I wish I get a better competitor who is not going to ***** me!
Kindly step in and assist. I know how rude they are. The last time I dropped a review here,they denied it and called me a ****.
