Damage to Furniture during tranportation
<p>In February this year #devillierstransport took some furniture from JHB to CT for us. They told me everything would be wrapped by them and that transport insurance is included. In their rush .. they were already a day late in collecting the goods, they did not wrap the lounge furniture nor a leather office chair. The couch was damaged - looks like burn mark from one of the bikes on the trailer and the leather chair was torn. </p> <p> </p> <p>to this day Charl de Villiers ignores my messages and last we spoke he said he could not find an upholstere in the area where my daugther lives. i went on to google and found quite a few in the area. I have mailed him the link and await response. </p>

Dont ever use this Transport company... ever!!
<p>My sister and I are relocating our families to Cape Town from Johannesburg and my sister decided to use De Villiers transport. Based on the reviews i read i decided to use another transport company and i was unfortunately right..</p> <p> </p> <p>My sister who has sold her house and packed up lock stock and barrel, paid the full amount to De Villiers transport who confirmed that they would be at her house this morning to load the truck. When they did not arrive, and after repeated unanswered telephone calls, she received a SMS stating that there were no trucks available and could she wait a few days!! Completely unaccpetable and i wonder if we will ever get the monies refunded. My sister has had no option but to enlist the services of another removal company to move her.</p> <p> </p> <p>Absolutely shocking!</p>

STILL no delivery - 3 months later
<p>Please, please, please read the reviews here. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. They no longer take my calls and I have now had to make a police report. I have had to rent-to-buy supplemental/temp for my new home in the mean time cause I have NO idea if my furniture will be delivered at all - was last told that it was now in East London - that was 3 weeks ago. Please feel free to send me an email if you need more details on how BAD De Villiers service has been - ********** <p>I can't believe how they can unashamedly take my hard earned money and then take my furniture for THREE MONTHS and fail to update me/make apologies/advise what the situation is. I would never wish this on anyone and my intention is to make sure that whoever bothers to read my review and still use this service, goes in knowing full well that they are paying for a service that they may not get.</p> <p> </p> <p>SHAME ON YOU, DE VILLIERS. SHAME ON YOU!</p> <p>The law will catch up with you. I will not be silenced. </p>

NEVER USE DE VILLIERS TRANSPORT!!
<p>We had the worst experience with this so-called Removal Company! We moved from Pretoria to Yzerfontein and our furniture were supposed to be delivered 15 January. After many calls, promises, the first load arrived in an open 1 ton bakkie and a trailer mid February, with the promise that the rest would be delivered the next week. It is nou a month later, the owner, Charl de Villiers does not answer our calls or e-mails, in fact we think he has blocked us. We contacted our insurance company to submit a claim with them. When they phoned him, he told them that he still has our stuff but has a crisis. They therefor cannot pay out for the stuff we did not receive. We are in dire straits!! How do you deal with this scenario? </p>

Two months and still no delivery!
<p>STILL waiting for my delivery, 2 months later!!</p> <p>My ENTIRE household contents were collected on Dec 27th last year. They dont answer my calls or respond to my SMSs about when they will deliver. Considering legal action now. I have incurred storage costs for no reason and am so stressed. I will update you on the conclusion. </p> <p>I have even asked them to tell me where my furniture is so that I pay a new mover. No response to that either. Hindsight...Wish I had paid EXTRA for professional service. </p> <p>I WANT MY FURNITURE.</p>

Great Service always
<p>I used De Villiers Transport to move my Classic Car And 3 oldie bikes for me from Nelspruit to Cape Town.</p> <p>I read all the reviews and was a bit weary, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as other clients will be happy with Telkom Mobile for example and let me tell you I have received the ****piest service i have ever experienced from Telkom</p> <p>Bottom point I am happy with the service i received and will most definitely use them again for my Transporting needs.</p> <p>I would give them another 5 stars if i could.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Great Service always
<p>I used De Villiers Transport to move my Classic Car And 3 oldie bikes for me from Nelspruit to Cape Town.</p> <p>I read all the reviews and was a bit weary, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as other clients will be happy with Telkom Mobile for example and let me tell you I have received the ****piest service i have ever experienced from Telkom</p> <p>Bottom point I am happy with the service i received and will most definitely use them again for my Transporting needs.</p> <p>I would give them another 5 stars if i could.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

Money taken and goods not delivered
<p>I paid R4500 for a trailer. De Villiers transport took my money and has been making promises to deliver or return the money for a month now. Still nothing. Very disapointing.</p>
