I recently engaged in a conversation with Irvin Jonga regarding my interest in a debt consolidation loan. He expressed concern about my current financial situation, advising that taking on additional debt might not be feasible. Instead, he proposed a plan to reduce my monthly installments and negotiate with my creditors, which I found reasonable. Consequently, I agreed to this approach and proceeded to sign the necessary paperwork, entering into a debt review process.
However, after some back and forth with one of the credit providers, both Irvin Jonga and Noreen Dhirau informed me that they could no longer assist me. To my surprise, they suggested that I sign a power of attorney so that a lawyer could help remove me from any blacklists, requiring a fee of 2k. This unexpected turn of events was quite inconvenient for me.
I feel compelled to share my experience to raise awareness. Despite my attempts to follow up with Deptmap multiple times regarding the attorney's assistance, I have yet to receive any response. It's disheartening to encounter such challenges, especially when seeking financial support during tough times.
