I recently engaged in a conversation with Irvin Jonga regarding my interest in a debt consolidation loan. He expressed concern about my current financial situation, advising that taking on additional debt might not be feasible. Instead, he proposed a plan to reduce my monthly installments and negotiate with my creditors, which I found reasonable. Consequently, I agreed to this approach and proceeded to sign the necessary paperwork, entering into a debt review process. However, after some back and forth with one of the credit providers, both Irvin Jonga and Noreen Dhirau informed me that they could no longer assist me. To my surprise, they suggested that I sign a power of attorney so that a lawyer could help remove me from any blacklists, requiring a fee of 2k. This unexpected turn of events was quite inconvenient for me. I feel compelled to share my experience to raise awareness. Despite my attempts to follow up with Deptmap multiple times regarding the attorney's assistance, I have yet to receive any response. It's disheartening to encounter such challenges, especially when seeking financial support during tough times.
Let me start by saying I am disappointed with the recent service that I have received from Takealot. I have Made a purchase recently of 5 items: Bilateral Electric USB Breast Pump, 3 in 1 Thigh, Butt and Waist Trimmer, Cell Hub Premium iPhone 6s Plus LCD replacement – White, Baby Carrier and Belecoo Q3 Baby Stroller 3 In 1 Newborn Baby Carriage-Brown. With this long list of items that I have paid for I have only received two items Baby stroller and USB breast pump and the rest we didn’t receive instead we got a box with stay sofra of which we didn’t order that. On the 4th of April 2023 I have contacted them and the guy with a name Wade D. told me that they have lodged returns the driver will come and fetch the wrong item and deliver the missing item. The drivers came and on the 5th of April 2023 and they said they came to collect a, 3 in 1 Thigh, Butt and Waist Trimmer, Cell Hub Premium iPhone 6s Plus LCD replacement – White, Baby Carrier of which we didn’t receive these items and I did say to Wade D., and they said they will not take the wrong item because its not on the list and they left. So, until now no one said anything this is ridiculous I will really recommend that other people should use the other online platform take a lot is bad news. I will try to call them again tomorrow because I have spent closer to R5000.00 and that’s my money.
I am rather sending this with a heavy heart caused by the dissatisfaction service that I have received from VOX Telecom. Just to give you a context, I have met with VOX Telecom sales man at Bayside Mall on the 13th of January 2022. Myself and my wife just moved in into a new space we were looking for a WIFI. The guy took us through different packages that they have we were happy with R654 package. He then dropped me a WhatsApp message same day so that we continue with my subscription. I have provided him with everything and I asked him couple of times are you guys going to install the WIFI in January and we will use the WIFI thereafter, pay end of February 2022 he said yes I assure you. The reason I was asking that question I was going to be able to allocate WIFI money from my budget end of February 2022. However, he said we can pay end of February I thought okay cool perhaps that's how they do in order to win more clients. On the last week of January 2022 technicians came to install ONT and router then immediately on the 28th January WIFI was working, shortly after that I received an invoice that states that, I need to pay the pro rata and February amount beginning of February . I was shocked because sales man assured me that I will only pay month end of February, at that point in time I haven't made any allocation towards WIFI as I have indicated that I was going to do that end of February. I then emailed billing lady to explain to her what I was told she just said that's not how we work you pay before you use WIFi as if I am dumb I know that but I was told hence otherwise. After 7 days in February they switched off the WIFI. After they switched off the WIFI I was like okay cool its all good I don't have money for WIFI in February I will just overlook what Sales told me just pay end of February for March. I got it all wrong I received an invoice to pay for February that I didn't use WIFI in and March. I emailed the billing lady to ask for her managers details never responded I asked again she sent me the details of her manager I explained the issue to issue to her and she said she will escalate the issue to Sales Manager she did, and she copied me after doing few follow up's with Sales Manage. The sales manager said he will investigate. He took his couple of days I emailed him again and he just got back to me and said the same thing that billing ladies told me that I need to pay the outstanding amount which include February. I Said to him I am not willing to do that as they are not meeting me half here, I was misled by their sales person and they are doing nothing about that. I said to them I am more than willing to meet them half way if they do meet me half way. The Sales manager said the best thing they can do is to make payment arrangements as I said I will meet them half way I said its all good I can pay the outstanding amount of 1427 month end of March plus the bill amount of April. The billing lady said to me I need to pay 1000 now and 427 month end then they can unsuspend the line, mind you these people have caused so much inconvenience in my life they call this payment arrangements. In short I can say that they have failed to resolve this issue hence I am taking other efforts by taking this issue to other platforms and it will be great for the other potential client of them in South Africa to sign up with them knowing the type of company their are and poor services that they provide.
