Poor quality of chargers I recently got a new charger after the old one was peeling from the insert point and the wires were exposed. The replaced new chargers tip was loose and eventually broke and now i have to pay for a new charger. Having used DELL before ,it seems the quality has deteriorated and that may b e on purpose to boost sales in replacing of laptop chargers. Would not advice anyone on a dell machine as the laptop charger quality are not the best and constantly need to be replaced. Please consider ensuring that you provide quality products so customers get value for money. Most adults including myself are not negligent, we take care of our gadgets and computer equipment ,however cheap and substandard quality products don't make anything easy!

After two years of normal use, the screen on my Dell Inspiron has split. It seems that Dell quality has deteriorated, because my wife has had two Dells over the past 15 years, each with no problem. A friend in the trade said it was not properly glued or just cheap plastics, or both. It's sad to see another "American" company's quality get so bad. I sent photos to Dell, but they refused to help.

I purchased a Dell Keyboard and Mouse combo set from Tarsus. The keyboard is broken mechanically. I reported it to Tarsus and they would not help and said I must phone Dell. I called Dell and they where not helpful and got cut off and the Dell Website does not offer a place to log a Ticket for this product. This keyboard failed in 6 months not even the cheapest keyboards fail like this.

After just 3 months, the “L” key popped off my R25,499 Dell Latitude 5450 laptop . Dell SupportAssist’s verdict? “Accidental damage.” There’s no plausible way normal use could cause this - it’s clearly a defect. Yet keyboard keys aren’t covered under warranty. Apparently expecting to type without keys falling off was too much to ask. One star, solely for having a virtual assistant. Really, Dell. Surely you can do better than this? How do you sleep at night knowing you're selling defective keyboards?

I had problems with my laptop in December and a technician was dispatched to resolve the issue. The issue reappeared a few days later. We have logged another call two weeks ago. The technician was apparently at our offices but claimed I did not answered my phone and nobody at the office knew who I was. Dell technicians ussually deal with our IT Support team and they have no knowledge of technician being there. I bought my first Dell almost 20 years ago and had it replaced every 3-4 years. I had great service over all these years. But this time I can't recommend DELL to anyone and will not be replacing my machine with DELL going forward as they have lost their support prowness.

Dell warranty does not seem to honor their SLA to replace faulty components that are about to go out of warranty. I have a laptop that the keys are coming out the speaker sound is teary, the machine is still under warranty, and no visible user induced damage, but because the machine is about to go out of warranty in 2 months, they are saying keyboard is not covered under warranty.

I bought two 32inch screens on Black Friday. There is supposed to be speakers in it, but cannot get a peep out of it, and Windows doe not pick up any speakers. The website is a disaster, looping and bringinbg you back to the start anytime, and there menu does not cover sound issues.

Laptop bought on black Friday special. Inspiron 15. Screen rim cracked, within the "warranty" period, which you cannot claim anything under. There is no repair or on site place for inspection or repair nor anyone they refer you to after extremely lengthy calls with bots and 'technicians'.
