I would like to thank the team at Dennebos for there hospitable accommodation. Thanks to the guys at the front desk Excellent(Mzu), and Liesel for relocation when it was needed. Also would like to thank Tony for taking care of any issues I had. Good job.

Dennebos / Pine Forest (Ceres) There is nothing magical about this forest anymore. Been there a few times - last time was a good few years ago. We booked a cottage (Rondavel) for 2. What we got was a shambles. Mould in the shower, broken panels, cramped space - the list is endless. On top of that their facilities were not available till Thursday (we arrived the Monday). Then they wanted to charge us for the facilities - an additional R80 for the use of 5 items. The putt-putt area had some of its carpets removed. We were told we could hire a TV, but when we got there we could no longer as the rondavel they gave us was not on the list. Then when we checked out we were informed that we had to wait 2 - 3 weeks for the security deposit. Please do not support them or waste your time. It's in a very sad state!

Floors were dirty, even pieces of glasson the floor upon arrival. Shower drain was blocked, we called the Operator Room to report it, yet no one answered. We had to sort it out ourselves. Both armchairs as well as the two seater couch were extremely uncomfortable, one doesn't have a cushion in the backrest, the others have holesin the seats. The braai stand was filthy, old ash and cigarette butts in itand the arwa around it hadn't been swept for ages. On both nights, the noise from the neighbors was deafening, yet security just ignored it. Thank goodness load shedding forced their noise to silence. And we paid over R1000 per night for this😡

We arrived at Denebos last Friday with the greatest of intentions. Mid morning hours of saturday, someone came into our chalet and stole our cellphones off the coffee table whilst we were in the place. My friend had gone to the toilet and i popped into the room. We then proceeded to the gate to log a complaint and the two securities on duty seemed so annoyed with us. No police were notified neither did they inform their management. Upon checking out on sunday, I informed the lady incharge in the office of what had occured and she had no knowledge of any report. This place is not safe for your families to go and spend leisure time. If security is'nt considered a priority I strongly suggest the place be closed down.
