I had been corresponding with Mr Riaan Earl from Destiny Holidays since the 11th January 2019 with regards to our Maldives Trip for my birthday in June 2019. I paid a hefty deposit in February and was assured that everything was in order. My suspicions were aroused when Mr Earl could not furnish me with my flight reference and the Hotel in the Maldives had absolutely no evidence of my booking when I contacted them directly to make special arrangements! Destiny Travel could not furnish me with credible answers . On the 09th April 2019 I received a call from Riaan Earle- Destiny Holiday, informing me of vague circumstance surrounding impending trip cancellation and I instructed them to proceed with a refund of my deposit. Between the 9th April to the 2nd May I struggle immensely to make contact with this company and its owner Vincent De Bruyn for prospects of a refund, we went to their physical premises and were told they were no longer there, got another cell no. for Marelise De Bruyn. Telephonic contact led to blatant lies from Vincent De Bruyn with promise of payments being made. I eventually contacted ASATA who mentioned that this Company Destiny Holidays were known for these scams and had been s****ped off ASATA role( although Destiny Holidays website states that they are afiliated! ) They advised me to lay criminal charges of theft and Fraud. Only after Vincent De Bruyn was contacted by Warrent Officer Rossouw From Goodwood SAPS, did he make a full refund!!!

So my friend and I booked a trip to Bali for December for her birthday. We paid a R21 000 deposit! This morning when I tried to call them, none of their numbers are working, can't find their Facebook page or website anymore, I wanted to make the final payment. We called Clubmed to see if they even booked our trip, but clubmed can't find anything under our names! Do not book with this company! We will be opening a case against them to hopefully try to get our money back! Riaan Earl was the "agent" we were working with. Destiny holidays/Riaan Earl, please contact me ASAP to resolve this issue or we will be taking legal action.

I have booked our Honeymoon for August 2019 (3months from now) in December 2018, the agent was so helpfull and kind. I did all my research and homework on DESTINY HOLIDAYS to make sure this is a safe agent to book through. On Thursday 30 March 2019 I called to follow up if everything was still in order with my Honeymoon as I paid the FULL AMOUNT in December, I was told with the economy and increases I will pay more in the 2019 year. So when I called the lines they where all non existing, the website is down and no answers. I eventually got hold of another agency and was told that ONLY my flights where booked and paid. NOTHING ELSE. I called DESTINY HOLIDAY'S lawyer only to be told they cant tell me anything. They said they are under Liquidation but that is a LIE as for me they are thiefs. Wat did they do with my hard working money and savings for the past 5 years!!!! This is disgusting!!!! I have no words to describe how disappointed my fiancé and I am. We have waited 9 years for this amazing opportunity in getting married and have a lovely Honeymoon in Mauritius but thank you DESTINY HOLIDAYS for taking that away from us!!

Destiny holidays! fraudulent transactions. look like "the company" Mrs De Bruyn the owner in pretoria and Riaan Earle (Cape town) (if it is his real name) deliberately scammed people for months, i booked a holiday with Riaan 18/03/2019 for 22nd June to 5th July, i paid the full amount of almost R80000.00 ,we were planning to take my daughter for her birthday, needles to say they dont give a rats a.. , they made the booking at the radisson azuri in mauritius but never paid the money to them or cancelled the transaction, without giving anyone notice, weird he?. this was March already!, according to me, "planned" ,flights was also never booked. This is a criminal offence btw. There's no answer at their office and their attorneys are never available. Anyway i am opening a fraudulent case against destiny holidays, Mrs de Bruyn and Riaan Earl. Feel free to email me with what exactly happened with you and destiny holidays, lets take it as far as neccessary and "hit back" them with the full arm of the justice system. My email is ********** , look like a weird mail adress but jip, thats it.

They took R 63 225 for my honeymoon to Maldives 26 March. The worst insult is not so much the lost vacation and money but Vincent's arrogance and complete laissez-faire way of dealing. You do not simply take this amount of money and "voluntarily liquidate" in order to escape your responsibilities. This is Criminal.
