So my friend and I booked a trip to Bali for December for her birthday. We paid a R21 000 deposit! This morning when I tried to call them, none of their numbers are working, can't find their Facebook page or website anymore, I wanted to make the final payment. We called Clubmed to see if they even booked our trip, but clubmed can't find anything under our names! Do not book with this company! We will be opening a case against them to hopefully try to get our money back! Riaan Earl was the "agent" we were working with. Utterly disappointed by my college which I was always so proud of and referred many friends to. I am currently studying financial accounting through S****s academy and have never had any issues until now! Extremely RUDE and unhelpful lecturer/student adviser simply refusing to assist me because "I said that he wasn't able to assist me." I just received my new study material yesterday, "Payroll and Monthly SARS" So this morning I start with the new subject, only to find that I need a workbook with templates in order to complete most of the practical exercises in the text book. So I call s****s academy and ask the lecturer if he can assist me with the templates and where I could find them in order to complete the practical exercises. He then told me to contact Edge Learning Media, to ask for the workbook which I need for the templates. Called Edge, spoke to a very helpful lady who told me that S****s Academy is supposed to provide the work books. Called the same lecturer again, asked him about this and he said that they don't supply work books anymore, which he could have told me in the first place instead of telling me to call another company. Then I called Edge again and the lady told me to speak to Clifford who is their supply chain manager or something like that (at S****s Academy). I called Clifford and he said that they don't supply students with work books anymore as they go unused most of the time. Okay, I get that it can happen, but with a subject like Payroll and monthly SARS, MOST of the practical exercises tell you to use the templates supplied in the work book. SO HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS WITHOUT THE WORK BOOK AND TEMPLATES????? Then the lectured went on to moan about the fact that I said he can't help me and this basically makes him look bad now! I never said he was bad, I understand if he can't assist with a work book if they do not have any, but then give me a solution!!! How must I do the work without the templates??? He then refused to talk to me any further or assist any further and told me then I must go find someone who can help me! This is not the way a lecturer is supposed to act, I never once raised my voice or insulted him. Yes I got frustrated but still spoke in a decent manner. All I wanted was for someone to assist and tell me what to do then. The person who signed me up with this college seems to have vanished as I can not get hold of her and the Manager or supervisor is never available. So what now? I pay my studies every month, on time and have never missed a payment, but then this is the kind of service a student receives who needs help.
