Device doctor's technician, named Reece, based in Cape Town, has raised some concerns for me. I genuinely question his qualifications as a technician. I sent my MacBook to him for an assessment since I accidentally spilled coffee on it. However, during the assessment, he informed my insurance provider, Naked Insurance, that there was no coffee on the MacBook, only water. This situation is quite puzzling to me, as I was the one who had the accident. I find it hard to believe that my word is being dismissed. To make matters worse, my insurance policy clearly covers liquid damage, yet they are now reluctant to repair my laptop. This situation feels like a ****, involving both Naked Insurance and Device Doctor. I am quite disappointed and frustrated with this turn of events.
