A fabulous restaurant pub going to the dogs!

<p>We have frequented Die Bos Restaurant and Pub for many years, and have always enjoyed great ambience, service and food.  On Sunday we met with extended family for a get-to-gether.  The place has become so neglected.  The toilets are broken down and stink, could really do with a coat of paint.  The waiters are excellent, professional and helpful, but clearly the owner has lost his passion.   2 of us ordered the chicken Schnitzel and were very sick the night.  So I phone Deon, whom I assume is the owner and tell him about our experience and the fact that 2 of us were sick.  No apology, just  "oh, that's strange, because I eat that dish so often".  I then said that clearly there wasn't anyone in charge, and he admitted that he wasn't there.   I was so dissappointed.  If the business is battling, surely one would take this kind of thing seriously.  So sadly, we won't be going back.
