On the 23rd of November 2019 we hosted my grandmother's 90th Birthday at "Die Plek", a restaurant in Montana, Pretoria. It was a joyful day, the food was great, but turned out for the worst when the management lady rudely chased us away, because we were only 30 minutes over our time. In my opinion, if you want to host 3 events in one day you must be able and prepare for situations like this to happen and not crack under the pressure. With this specific event, there is a lot of elderly people and things will be slower than normal. After we were rudely shouted at in the venue to leave, we tried to help my grandmother out of the door with the wheelchair as quickly as we can, but the rude lady from management had no respect for the situation and tried to jump over/bump my grandmother in the wheelchair out of the way to get through. I then commented loudly that she's very rude and the next moment she was close up in my face yelling at me. I've never felt more disrespected in my life, so do yourself a favour and book any other venue for special occassions!
