Very bad service and unfriendly account department staff. My account was handed over to the lawyers while I was not aware. Firstly it was my husband who was hospitalised last year in July, he is on my medical aid. The funds ran out on the medical aid and my husband made an arrangement with them to pay in installments because he is currently unemployed. He paid until November and he stopped because that’s when he was hospitalised again in a public hospital and it’s been 2 months. Then I just received a call from an attorney that my account is handed over. Explained to them that I did not receive any letter from the hospital about this account and for it to be handed over. I phone the account department and they were so rude. The letters were sent to my husband’s email address who is currently lying in ICU. But they have my details, they could have phone me and email me and it’s worse because the amount outstanding is now doubled. They are so insensitive and our South African Healthcare system is a disgrace especially to the unemployed. They are not even willing to listen and help. I’m so disappointed with them.
