I received an unsolicited call from this business today trying to trick me in the same way , they are owned by Ubuntu Group (Pty) Ltd. I am looking into laying a formal complaint with the Information Regulator as I most certainly did not give these people my information. If they have managed to trick people in the same way they should be reported to the consumer commission.

Totally unethical soliciting of business. A random phone call tells you to dial one to win... I don't usually but considered it harmless. This response ties you into a R5/day deal.

I was attacked today with a phone call which seems to have enabled this company to deduct R5 per day from me. I received a call and only heard the words press 1, which I stupidly complied with to give the caller the benefit of the doubt. Apparently this constituted authorization for the deduction. I then had to SMS "STOP" to number "37410" for this deduction to be switched off. I find this behaviour totally reprehensible and want to know whether there is any way to have this behaviour stopped? I presume they may be a good source of revenue for somebody, but surely this sort of behaviour should be rooted out? Email address is info@dr-doctor.co.za
