Repeated cold calls from different numbers claiming to be "Premium Save" which is in fact Icon Africa which is registered as Iconaf (Pty) Ltd. When asked where they obtained my details, they said from websites like Origin 5 and Money Mavericks, the latter has the same director as Iconaf. I have never dealt with any of these entities.
I received an unsolicited call from this business today trying to trick me in the same way , they are owned by Ubuntu Group (Pty) Ltd. I am looking into laying a formal complaint with the Information Regulator as I most certainly did not give these people my information. If they have managed to trick people in the same way they should be reported to the consumer commission.
Thank you Samantha for assisting with resolution of the issues I was experiencing regarding delivery of my bank card.
I have always had good experiences with DSV (Mounties) re bank card delivery over many years. My most recent contact with the support line was quite shocking with the phone being put down in my ear at some point. I was told that the courier would arrive in 2-4 days and have anyone he finds at the premises (with 300 people on any given day) can sign for my bank card. I have no tracking number, I'm told the courier will not make contact so I have no idea when he may arrive. With new privacy laws with specific offences relating to account numbers, I find it disturbing that a parcel containing my account number, my name and CVV number can just be given to any person at my address. In the past the courier would call or message that he has arrived, I would need to provide proof of ID and sign to collect the parcel.
I requested bank card delivery and am very happy with the professional service received from both the call centre as well as delivery which was right on time and a very professional delivery person.

Last month I visited this store to purchase some electronics. After some time I was able to get an employee's attention (as the staff seem more interested in one another than selling anything). Upon asking if they had stock of the product I wanted the response was a simple "no". I expected more, an offer to call me when stock comes in, checking at the nearest branch to do an inter-branch transfer eg. The next week I called to check if stock has come in, the person answering the phone does so with a "hello" which is very unprofessional, the person in the electronics department doesn't know when stock is expected and cannot provide me with alternatives. A few days later I called the store and stock had come in. When I went into the store, again, no one on the floor was offering any assistance and were yelling and joking with eachother across the floor, I doubt they even saw me. Only one staff member was running around trying to assist all the customers. This whole experience has been very unpleasant and I will not be visiting this branch again. Either the staff are not trained, or they simply do not care about providing customer service, I assume its the latter. I'm sure Game's competitors will be happy for me to spend my money with them as most of their product offering can be substituted or obtained elsewhere.

I received a call from ********** 985 on my cell yesterday, which I ignored. A few hours later I got another call on my landline at work which I answered because very few people have both of these numbers. The caller said he was from Telkom and they have a great offer... I then stopped him and asked where he got my details as I am not a Telkom customer, at which point he could not answer me. I note that there are a number of reports on Tellows for this number as well. I would much prefer if Telkom doesn't contact me again - if I am interested in buying a product, I will contact the supplier. I thought companies knew this approach to advertising is unpopular.

I moved to Woodstock recently and have been going into the branch from time to time to deal with various matters. The ladies at the front service desk, especially Sharon who I always have the pleasure of dealing with are extremely efficient, always friendly and always seem to remember each return client and their back-story. These ladies make queuing at a bank the impossible - extremely pleasant.

I have now requested multiple times that my number be removed from the relevant list of numbers that receive automated calls with promises that I am definitely now 'opted out'. I consistently received, and to this day continue to receive multiple calls from Edgars Insurance daily. I will now, as I communicated, be closing my account as a solution to this unwanted advertising.
After much investigation working in reverse from sms and lovely Sunday autobot call I received, I found these messages and calls are from these jokers. I looked up their website and gave them a call (0111008080) and they don't seem to realise that their \marketing"is being done incorrectly.

Because they dont respond to HelloPeter - they will never see these complaints. I have e-mailed them [Email Removed] - from an e-mail address I hardly use so they can't use this as well - telling them to stop immediately or I will report them to the consumer commission / WASPA / start ranting on their facebook page at all hours of the night - hopefully this will work"
