Steer Clear

This is my second attempt to write a review of Dr Gita Makan. Hello Peter deleted the first without reason.

I will summarise as I have taken my complaint to a higher authority.

I visited Dr Makan to clear the status of my male/female hormones so as to decide whether a hormonal treatment for acne would be appropriate or not.

The receptionist repeatedly told me she is new and does not know how the process works and would not cooperate with the labs I was sent to for testing.

Many vials of blood were taken, and I had no idea what these were all for and I was quite disturbed.

This resulted in a massive bill for which I am currently being harassed because between the labs and medical aid have no cooperation from the practise.

Moreover, after revisiting a message sent from the doctors iPhone, I recently discovered that Dr Makan had sent me for unneccsary genetic and auto-immune testing.

The unreasonable tests must be why the bill is extensive. We are all so perplexed as to why she would subject me to such testing despite no health complaints at all.

Dr Makan clearly had personal reasons and/or agenda and did not even address the concern I visited her practise for.
