Best urologist in Jo'burg
The best urologist I have ever dealt with, and there have been a few. From his receptionist to to all the hospital staff involved I have always received excellent care. He has been my urologist for at least 10 years now!

DR PH Porteous - Urologist rip-off
My son went to Dr Porteous to ask his opinion on how he can protect himself against getting caught in a relationship with a girl falling pregnant. COST; R1260 for this consultation Medical Aid refund: R458 What a rip-off. My son is a student!!

Cancelling your appointment a week before
<p>I made an appointment on the 12th June for the 7th July for my son. I booked so far in advance so we were able to get an appointment and so that we could request leave for the Friday to travel as we are 6 hours away from Joburg. We booked accommodation and put in our leave. On the 27th June at 4:40pm we were phoned to say that they were cancelling our booking. When asked if Dr could recommend another specialist they were 'unable' to help. They said we could see a doctor taking over Dr Porteous' patients but could not advise if he was a specialist.</p> <p>I do not recommend making an appointment - super unhelpful. I have now been frantically searching for another specialist that is able to assist us on the Friday.</p>
