Paid R795 upfront for 10 min. Did not bother to feel the one bump. I still don't know if it's a cyst, lipoma or hernia. Other bump was identified as a cyst and he can remove it in office. I said: let's go about 5 times. Nope. Notice in office says 2nd app is also 15 min. So if I had unlimited medical funds, I'd probably get rid of the bump by the 5th appointment. Don't expect Dr ****le Popper go getter attitude.

I had the privilege of having Dr. Rakesh Newaj as the specialist for my little brother's Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and I can't speak highly enough of his professionalism and dedication. From the outset, Dr. Newaj was incredibly kind, understanding, and hands-on. He took the time to explain my brother's condition in simple terms, ensuring that I fully understood the diagnosis and treatment plan. One of the things that stood out most was Dr. Newaj's openness to feedback. He listened carefully to our concerns and made adjustments where needed, which made the entire process much smoother. The aftercare was exceptional, Dr. Newaj was consistently attentive to my brother's needs, ensuring that every aspect of his recovery was handled with the utmost care. Dr. Newaj is also deeply committed to making his services, including surgeries, as affordable as possible without compromising on quality. This level of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated, especially when dealing with long-term conditions like Hidradenitis Suppurativa. The staff at Dr. Newaj's practice were equally impressive. They were very helpful and seamlessly accommodated my brother's specific needs. Their gentle handling of his wounds and treatment made a significant difference in his comfort and recovery. Overall, Dr. Newaj is one of the best and most affordable specialists I've encountered. His dedication to his patients is evident in every interaction, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing specialized care. Thank you, Dr. Newaj, and your team, for making a challenging experience so much easier to navigate.

Revolving door practice for sure - charge a fortune and leave you scared for life - no beside manners and you sign your life away to prevent him from being sued, says allot. He refused to see me after my wound went sceptic from having mole cut out and did my mole mapping with a magnify glass - seriously!!! Most un professional practice ever encountered. Even my daughter refused to go back as he barely looked at her, she was in for 2min and given an ointment for a mole. Cash *** is what h

Worst experience with a doctor ever. I went to see Dr. Newaj on the 18th of May 2022 for a rash I, had around my mouth for 2 month before going to see him. I came into his room, he asked me what my problem was, I pulled down my mask, he did not examine me, had one look and said it was exima, I did not spend more than 5 minutes with him. He gave me a script that treats fever blisters that was for a month, cortisone tablets for 20 days and a cortisone cream. He told me if by the time the medication is finish and my mouth not completely healed I must come back and I will not pay for the Consultation, where after he said: "But I promise you it will be healed. When the cortisone tablets was finish the rash came back, when I had 5 days of the fever blister tablets left I phoned his rooms and informed the receptionist that he said I can, come back without having to pay. She called me back to inform me there was no such note made by the doctor on my file and the doctor said he cannot remember saying to me I don't have to pay again. I, was extremely upset and decided to go back to his rooms in person and try for him to see me. I once again got told he does not remember saying so. Out of anger I tolddthe receptionist I will report him to the Ombudsman and name and shame him for it is not fair that a doctor goes back on his words. She went and told the doctor what I said, he then told her to tell me that I must leave and go see another doctor, he does not want me as a patient and his got a legal team that will take me on. I burst out in tears in the reception area, Dr. Newaj came out to collect a patients file, he saw me crying and just looked the other way and walked away. I am a single mom, with a very low income, I don't have a medical aid, the consultation and medicine cost me R1300. I just feel he does not care for patients according to the oath you take as a doctor to help patients and he only cares for the money. I will not recommend him to any one and also will not leave this matter here. Just because he did not make the note in the file and then later denies saying that to me I, had to fork out more money for another doctor. HE JUST DOES NOT CARE!!!!

What unsatisfactory service from the administration side of the business. Whilst waiting in the rooms to see the doctor, the receptionists are not professional. Waiting on results by curtisy they could call and not have the patient call to receive results, then say they waiting from the medical aid even though they are not cause having spoken to the medical aid they have completed their process. I would not recommend this practice

I went to Dr Rakesh at his practice in kempton park, towards the end of April paid R790 for my consultation, he literally saw me for 10 minutes and gave me a prescription for my medication which costed me R2360 He told me they will call me for a follow up appointment, I waited four months and got no call back I phoned them today , spoke to his secretary she told me I need to pay R790 for a follow up, I explained to her that it’s been only four months, I finished my entire course of medication and my eczema has returned worse than what it was so how can I pay that much for something that has not worked, she further said you were supposed to come within fourteen days for it to be free, I told her nothing if this was discussed with me when I left, she told me there’s nothing I can do, so I asked her can I speak to Dr Rakesh she said no very abruptly and rudely, I told her please don’t talk to me that way and she further said go find another dermatologist because we can’t help you , I feel this is very unprofessional and disappointing.
