Refund not processed

On 10 December 2025, I paid R12,000 to this company for a gearbox. I was told the gearbox was available, however when I arrived it was not. I was then informed that an exchange gearbox was required, which was never mentioned during prior discussions.

The company offered to deliver the gearbox and swop it with my old unit, on condition that full payment be made immediately. I made payment on this basis.

The following morning, I was advised that the gearbox would not work. I immediately cancelled the transaction and requested a refund. No gearbox was ever delivered or supp****.

Since then, I have been repeatedly told that the refund would be processed “the next day” or “by Friday”. More than two months later, no refund has been received and my calls and emails are now being ignored.

There was never any agreement that my refund would depend on the company selling the gearbox to someone else. This is unacceptable and unreasonable.
