On 10 December 2025, I paid R12,000 to this company for a gearbox. I was told the gearbox was available, however when I arrived it was not. I was then informed that an exchange gearbox was required, which was never mentioned during prior discussions. The company offered to deliver the gearbox and swop it with my old unit, on condition that full payment be made immediately. I made payment on this basis. The following morning, I was advised that the gearbox would not work. I immediately cancelled the transaction and requested a refund. No gearbox was ever delivered or supp****. Since then, I have been repeatedly told that the refund would be processed “the next day” or “by Friday”. More than two months later, no refund has been received and my calls and emails are now being ignored. There was never any agreement that my refund would depend on the company selling the gearbox to someone else. This is unacceptable and unreasonable.
I had a very disappointing experience with The Racers Edge. I purchased seats from them which were never delivered. After requesting a refund, I have now been waiting over two months with no payment received. I keep being told that the refund will be processed “tomorrow,” but nothing ever happens. It has been excuse after excuse with no real resolution. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through is extremely frustrating. This has been a terrible customer experience, and I would not recommend doing business with this company at all.
Booked a Collection on Monday 15 Nov 2pm for Delivery Tuesday 16 Nov - PAID in FULL Thursday 15 November Package has not been collected or Delivered... Numerous Phone calls and promises of getting a call back still no resolution... Absolutely Atrocious!!
<p>NeoBB Wireless 10Mbps offering @ a cost of R 1978.90 per month.</p> <p><br />We have had this service for just about a year now as it's the only internet connectivity we can get in our area.</p> <p><br />The First 2 months were GREAT without any issues but then it started..</p> <p>Slow speeds constant disconnections.. By Slow speeds i mean less than 1mbs (we are paying for 10mbs)</p> <p> </p> <p>If I want to update windows or download anything bigger than 50mb that will take 2 days as the connection disconnects repeatedly during that process and we can not use the connection for browsing or emails during that period due the connection being dropped the whole time.</p> <p>Now logging the issues is a whole new debacle.</p> <p>After logging the issues it takes 3 weeks to actually get a technician out to us to get the issue trouble shooted and then another week to get it fixed or in this case semi-fixed..</p> <p>It usually gets semi-fixed for about a day or 2 then everything goes back to issues...</p> <p> </p> <p>Some of the issues:</p> <p>we never get more than 4mbs speed and at 5pm it drops down to 1mbs or lower.</p> <p>as soon as we download anything bigger than 50/100mb the connection just drops continuously during the whole process and the internet then becomes unusable can't open any web page can't send or receive emails as it just times out due to connection dropping and speed dropping.</p> <p> </p> <p>So paying for 10mbs but only getting about 1mbs most of the time and calling customer service only gets a called logged and 3 weeks later techy comes to check and a week later attempts to fix it with no success.</p> <p> </p> <p>So tired of this exceptionally poor service but hands tied behind my back and no where to go!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Willing to now go with whatever else is available in my area and want to get my money back for the past 8 months of struggling and not to mention cost of call to get support and having to use 3G & LTE to cover for the lack of Neotel Connectivity...</p> <p> </p> <p>FRUSTRATED!!!! </p> <p> </p>
Booked courier to collect urgent medication from my mother in law. They go to collect 2 days later 6pm in the evening and no one is there? Next day they go and collect finally and now i have to wait another 2/3 days for the medication. Phone them numerous times (phone just rings and then get told there's no one there and I'll get a called back etc..) and get told they were there and full of excuses and attitude get told it was my fault?? Such a pity that there are still companies running a business like this.
