Love your Chenin Blanc 3 Litre box information. It is thorough, and the fact that it's 97% recyclable makes it even more appealing.

Seven boxes in a row of their red blend had the bag in the box the wrong way around. I complained to the winery and was told that they would look into the problem. Later I bought 2 more boxes and when layed down to fit in my fridge the packet inside the boxes leaked out half the wine. This time I was told by the winery not to lay the boxes down and to send them photos of the soggy boxes. The third time was the last straw. I was pouring wine whilst holding the handle as I have always done and the handles came loose on two different boxes breaking the glasses. This time my email was totally ignored.

Listen here the worst, absolute trash wine I’ve ever had the unlucky most atrocious chance in my life to try. It’s like vinegar id rather not even use to make my biltong. Been through their site, social media - NO RESPONSE! They take no responsibility and this rubbish is selling at bottle stores nation wide. I bought 3 boxes from 2 different outlets! Thank god I have two oceans who actually make real wine!

We thought it would be in the best interest to inform Du Toitskloof winery about one of their full time employees running his own business on the side while bad mouthing their company, members and CEO (on more than one occasion). This was purely to inform Du Toitskloof winery about unethical actions of one of their senior staff members. They responded poorly. The email did not even have a name at the bottom, so it could might as well have been the exact employee who we complained about. It is never a nice feeling to complain and we therefore feel that if 'Du Toitskloof management' prefer to stay anonymous, then we will not elaborate further. We just feel that over all their service is not what it use to be. Good luck with your drunk staff at festivals and staff that bad mouth you. Maybe that was deserved?

Before I rant I would like to state that a year ago I posted a compliment for this company on this site. Due to the fact that we used to drink large quantities of their wine we were more prone to have quality issues. Their stock rotation is not 100% & from time to time we had box wine that was past it's best date. The boxes are labelled on packing date so it is difficult for the consumer to guage whether they are still okay. The complaint was handled highly unprofessionally & we were copied in on internal emails which inferred that we were complaining to get free wine. Sadly, despite an apology from the CEO, the parties involved never apologised & 4 months later the wine is still unreplaced. As a result they have lost a loyal customer & we no longer buy their wine

Dutoitskloof Wines was running a competition in the Welgemoed Pick n Pay Family Store where a person could win a wine fridge by buying a bottle of Dutoitskloof wine.

I have been a loyal Dutoitskloof customer and normally I would buy the 3l sauvignon blanc box wine but I decided to buy a bottle in order to enter the competition. The competition entries were supposed to end on 31 March 2015 but when I walked into the shop on the 2nd of April and the competition still being run and the box was still out for people to put their entries in. I approached the manager who informed me he was waiting for the sales representative to pick up the competition box, however on the 6th of April the competition was still being run and the competition box was not picked up

The deadline was completely disregarded and people are were still entering the competition? What is the point of having people go out of their way to especially buy the bottle of wine when the chances of winning have now decreased so drastically due to mismanagement of the competition?

I emailed Dutoitskloof about this on the 7th and 10th of April but have neither had an acknowledgement nor a response to date
