Bryanston branch - Pathetic customer services!!!!
I emailed and called the Bryanston branch (run by Leigh) on the 10th of August to order a new box of contact lenses.
They did not want to order it because I needed a prescription - the woman who took the call was adamant that I had to get a prescription and I kept on saying that they just had to call the Boskruin branch to get one from them, as it is with them! This escalated to speaking to Leigh who said she will speak to that branch.
I never had such an issue with other branches like the one in Edenvale (Meadowdale branch), when I ordered a new box. It was smooth and simple and not complicated as the Bryanston branch!
I have not received a single response from the Bryanston branch on my order nor a single email, voice message, sms or whatsapp message like I requested. The only time this woman called was while I was driving and I asked her to sms or whatsapp me...and nothing so far. No sense of urgency as they would call a day later.
What kind of business does this branch run? Chasing new customers away? And with such total utter putrid customer service?

15 Sept 2022, 12:19Dear Olga ( Contact Lens prescription expired and was 5 years old ) I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience at Bryanpark Optometrists. My staff and I strive for excellence in eye care and our customer services and I am disappointed that you did not feel we lived up to your expectations. To remind you Olga, your contact lens prescription we got from your previous optometrist was 5 years old (May 2016) and because a contact lens is a medical device coming into direct contact with the cornea of your eye, my professional recommendation is for all my contact lens patients to have an annual eye examination to ensure that no harm is being done by the wearing of contact lenses. 5 years is just too long without an optometrist checking the condition of your eyes. You were advised by myself (Leigh) as well as my frontline lady that we would need to examine your eyes before we would be able to order your contact lenses. We attempted to find an appropriate time to book the examination for you but without success. I would be very happy to examine your eyes and supply you with your contact lenses in the future should you choose to do that. Kind Regards
