I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding my experience with EasyEquities.
On 17 February 2026, I submitted a withdrawal request from my EasyEquities account. To date, my funds have still not been made available as withdrawable funds, and I have not received any clear explanation or assistance from their support team. My attempts to resolve the issue directly have only resulted in automated responses, with no meaningful resolution.
In addition, I cancelled the debit orders linked to share purchases from my bank account. Despite cancelling these debit orders, funds were still deducted from my account without my authorisation after the cancellation. This has caused significant concern and financial inconvenience.
I have now escalated the matter to the FAIS Ombud, and my complaint has been assigned a reference number for investigation. However, I am still hoping that EasyEquities will urgently address this matter and release my funds.
I would appreciate a clear explanation and immediate assistance in resolving this issue.
