I have used these brokers (specifically Yvette o Reilly) for 20 years and I am absolutely blown away every time I need help - they have my back and help me move between products when I need to. Absolutely incredible

The worst broker I’ve ever dealt with—absolute lack of communication. I signed up for insurance with them, with Old Mutual as the underwriter, and they handed my claim off to a broker without even informing me. I only found out when some random guy called me out of the blue, making the whole thing feel like a ****. My claim has been dragging on for nearly a month with zero updates. Meanwhile, they let the underwriter dismantle my car’s computer without my permission—or even MFC’s—just to find a way to avoid paying my claim. Who even approved the person who removed it? If they don’t pay, I’m the one stuck dealing with the mess. And what if they stole my car’s components? Am I just supposed to accept that? Stay far away from these people—they’re not worth your time or money. Go with Discovery instead.

The worst broker I’ve ever dealt with—absolute lack of communication. Last night one of our company vehicles was in an accident. We called the Econorisk emergency line and were assisted by Lerato Nhlapo. She was amazing and assisted me. I couldn't have done it without her.

Never in my life have I ever come across a more useless insurance company. You try claim for a leaking pipe within a WALL and we get told they cannot assist as this is a “MOVING PART” How the actual F does a pipe built into a wall move?!?!?!? Now yet another pipe issue (burst within a wall again) and we get told they will only cover up to R5k of this…. Wtaf!?!?!?! Ps the house is +-80 years old, what do they expect ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to go wrong?!?!?! Fing hell no matter how well you look after a house pipes burst, geysers burst, heavy winds hit, roofs leak. Catch a flippen wake up people!?!?

Never in my life have I ever come across a more useless insurance company. We have had business insurance with Econorisk Pty Ltd since 2019 and the underwriter for this is Hollard trucking . First I spoke to Brenda at Captive and she referred me to Econorisk claim administrator Isaac to assist me with putting in a claim. Then from then on I worked with Isaac and submitted all requested documents from their side and he opened a claim number COM156343JB/1 , and he instructed me should third party make contact with me I shouldn't communicate anything just refer all communications to him and they'll manage everything from their side of which I did with every email received was forwarded to the administrator. On the 04/10/2022 received an email which was sent to Isaac from Bradley (Hollard trucking) which confirmed that claim was validated Claim number TKJCLTK000003706 6299318 However on the 19 September 2022 , received email from third party which indicated that there hasn't been any contact made from my insurer . I informed Isaac that third party is now going to issue default judgement against the company because there's no communication from our side. Yesterday 14/11/2022 received a document that judgment has been lodged against our company and I had sent numerous emails requesting update on the matter and if there has been any commutation made with third party instead Bradley forwarded emails to his colleagues (HollardThirdPartyClaims) and CC me and still nothing is done to date. would you kindly assist as this is the worst service I've ever received. This is the very first time we put in a claim and our premiums are up to date I DON'T recommend these companies at all

I would just like people to know that this company does not deal ethically and if not criminal in there practices. After making me jump through numerous hoops over the few weeks I finally get an acknowledgement of loss for barely half of what was stolen and damaged. I have been almost claim free for 5 years paying in total over R400 000 in monthly fees and when you finally have a claim they will do anything not to pay out. I urge any other business to please come forward and name and shame these insurances who eat away at SME.

After making me jump through numerous hoops over the few weeks I finally get an acknowledgement of loss for barely half of what was stolen and damaged. I have been almost claim free for 5 years paying in total over R400 000 in monthly fees and when you finally have a claim they will do anything not to pay out. I urge any other business to please come forward and name and shame these insurances who eat away at SME.
