Road closures cause havoc and unnecessary damages
My vehicle was parked in front of my business but due to road closures for new roads through Vaalwater there is absolutely hardly space to park and for cars to turn around. A vehicle reversed fully into my car I contacted Edwin Construction as I honestly felt they haven’t made enough effort to keep all the businesses in mind due to parking and enough space to drive through that it’s mainly caused due to all the roadworks. The roads is a complete mess and businesses has the loss. But they just informed me sorry it was not caused by one of there vehicles or people. And they refused to carry the loss. They just keep on reverting me to someone else even after insisting to speak to the owner of Edwin. They just refuse to take the responsibility for their constructions that cause major problems. But at the end they still get a huge amount from the roads and don’t care.

Poor workmanship Safety Hazard
Drove to Alpine Heath Resort. Roadworks between Harrismith and the resort are a disgrace. Point control bizzare No water trucks for dust control. Completed sections ? safety danger. One wonders how this tender was awarded.
