Please stay away We had a very poor Solar installation since 2017 when it was installed. After service was slow and poor and the last battery they brought me swelled up on the sides within a weeks time. I ended up in contacting another Solar Company to re-install a better system.

I bought the solar system , from E-engeneering in 2017. Was installed in march 2017. In September 2017 he 8 Energiser deep cycle batteries were replaced with 4 200Ahr Narada's. The installation was totally unsafe, a fire hazard and not compliant. the Mecer invertor was not grounded, an AC breaker was installed between the solar panel and the invertor. This is totally unacceptable and a fire hazard. (Before connecting to PV modules, please install separately a DC circuit breaker between inverter and PV modules). The invertor had an earth wire to a ground bar but this was not connected to anything, a 220V AC device with no earth connection. The solar panels were not earthed. not required said the electrician who did the installation. No DC fuse installed between the batteries and the invertor although the installation manual says"For safety operation and regulation compliance, it’s requested to install a separate DC over-current protector or disconnect device between battery and inverter. Nobody answers your emails , calls or whatsapp messages. Stay away from this company. Watch out they may operate under a different name as they still advertise. See the Powerforum and ask there if your installation is safe. I had my installation coorected at my own expense. only to find out the the narada batteries are no good. STAY AWAY.

We have contacted E- Engineering on numerous occasions with regards to problems with the system. On 17/11/2017 Morgan the technician was on premises and disconnected the system and batteries. Morgan verbally said on premises that this was an improper installation due to the lack of protection should solar panels fail or spikes be experienced. It was at this stage a full re-installation and overhaul was promised. We are now almost in APRIL 2018 and They don't respond to emails, don't respond to phone messages, they've disappeared of the face of the earth, and we are sitting with a Improper Installed, FAULTY, Solar solution that is disconnected. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

We brought a solar power system from above company. The sales person, George were at our premises saw that we off gritt and my husband explained what we need. George supplied us with a quotation including 8 battries, 12 paneks and 2 inverters. He explained that we will have more than enough power for all our needs and more. Even the installer thought that we will have to mutch power. Sadly from the start we have problems with this system and tried to sort this out. 3 days after installing we sufferd to get them back here to sort things out. They replace the 8 battries with 4 others. Still not sorted we phone and battled ... The did change the batteries another 2 times. But we still does not have enough power. I told them i think i need 4 more battries, according to me paid for... Now for January i cant get hold of them by telephone. We stay on a farm in Magaliesburg. Michelle always sayd that the owner Mr vd Merwe will call back ... nothing!!!They want me To upgrade and buy another system but the first system does not work properly. According to the quote we have garrantees ext on the batteries Panels. We paid cash for this system and it was expensive

I have just invested money into Solar via a company called E-engineering. The pre-sales and installation went very well, until it came to supporting the product. I was initially sold a an inferior product, due to scalability issues. I then upgraded the system to allow me to build on my current infrastructure that I had purchased. After a few months I noticed that I was not actually not saving much from the system and I queried the problem and it looked like the batteries were being charged from my electricity supply and not from my solar panels. This was then rectified late in 2017, not before I complained to the Consumer affairs who assisted to get the people to site. Dec 2017 my system showed and error, which I then reported. It took the guys about a week to attend to y call and during this time the system went dead completely. The engineer then informed me that the batteries had gone faulty and needed to be replaced. Again, customer service was that 'good' that during the wait for the batteries, the factory closed down. It is now 2 months and my system is still not working, even sending numerous mails and telephone calls to the company. I need to know who and how I can take this further. Is there any way that I can get them to remove the system and give my money back so that I can go to another company for my solar requirements.
