On Friday, 31 July 2025, I had the worst travel experience with EgyptAir at Cairo International Airport. I was rushing through heavy traffic to catch a direct flight to Johannesburg, but the check-in counter staff were shockingly unhelpful and unprofessional.
They were unfriendly, argued loudly in Arabic in front of passengers, and worked painfully slowly, with a clear “don’t-care” attitude. Their tardiness caused me to miss my flight, despite arriving in time to make it if they had done their jobs efficiently.
This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I will never fly EgyptAir again and will warn other travelers to think twice before booking with this airline.
