Complaint Regarding Unreturned Lost Property - Room 1926 (April 11-13, 2025) To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding the handling of my lost property following my stay at the Elangeni Hotel from April 11th to April 13th, 2025. My booking was arranged by my employer, and I was accommodated in Room 1926. Upon checking out on April 13th, I inadvertently left a pair of sneakers in the room. A week later, after realizing my oversight, I immediately contacted the hotel. The lady I spoke with took my details and assured me that an investigation would be launched. However, since that initial call, I have received no communication from the hotel. Despite numerous attempts to follow up by calling your reception, I have consistently been met with assurances that someone would "get back to me." Weeks have now passed, and this lack of proactive communication and resolution is concerning. I understand that oversight can occur, but the subsequent absence of accountability and communication from the hotel staff is frankly disheartening. It gives the impression that client care diminishes significantly once a booking is complete, and it has regrettably eroded my confidence in your establishment. The perceived disregard for guests' belongings is particularly troubling. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and provide a prompt resolution regarding the return of my sneakers.
