Late for COC inspection and charges double the price of other COC certificate providers. Once again late for the appointment to do the repairs and charging 30 to 50% more than other quotes received. Inflated costs that are above average, and at best, subpar work. Omitted a damaged plug and charged to repair a functional light. A blatant pattern of incompetence and full of excuses for coming late on 3 occasions. It appears that I'm not the only customer experiencing this situation looking at other reviews of this circus act. You have been cautioned not to waste your time with these amateurs.

There's just so much to write about Electra Bug that's so wrong; but besides their arrogance and slap dash manner of conducting their water and electrical CoC for the property I purchased, to verbally threaten a customer because their workmanship was highly questionable has got to be the ultimate reason why no one in their reasonable mind would recommend this company! Read the content on the Electra Bug Facebook page carefully, and exercise professional scepticism. Until such time that this company rectifies its errors on my property, I shall do everything in my power to forewarn unsuspecting customers of their poor workmanship and unethical behaviour that I experienced! Surely this is why Hello Peter exists; to advise of the good and THE BAD experiences!

I had to fix a faulty element on my geyser. I got hold of a plumbing contractor using an App but it turned out to be very expensive. I then contacted Electra Bug, Strand. They quote me R700 cheaper on labour and I opted to use their service. They came the same day and installed the new element. Due to a break in communication I was also charged form a thermostat. The issue was raised with the owner who immediately said that they will rectify the matter and I was refunded in full. I can only take my hat off and say thank you for your professional service and the way in which you resolved the misunderstanding.
