S C A M M E R S!! ELITE TELEVISION REPAIRS
They are DEFINITELY scammers! I have seen other reviews of their modus operandi. It is two weeks now that they took my TV and have not returned it. It is a pity I am not able to contact the other reviewers so that we can make a case together (I don't have FaceBook to do this)

Please be AWARE !! Pelikan Radio and TV Repairs vs Pelican Television repairs
Please Note !! 15 years ago we traded as Pelikan Radio & Tv Repairs and later on changed the name to TV and Satellite Pro, we are based in Nigel. We are getting numerous calls regarding Pelican Television Repairs ( Elite Television Repairs) please take note on the spelling on both the names. We dont have any connection with Pelican aka Elite Television repairs. They are based in Kempton Park as we are based in Nigel. Please take note as it may be a scam as we are getting people phoning us regarding the confusion of the 2 names.

Please Note !! 15 years ago we traded as Pelikan Radio & Tv Repairs and later on changed the name to TV and Satellite Pro, we are based in Nigel. ELITE TELEVISION REPAIRS
Found Elite Television Repairs on i/net and contacted them. They collected my TV on Sat 5 Feb 2022 with undertaking to have it back Tue 8/2 which never happened. Managed to contact them and was told that they are having issues fixing it as the LED "keeps blowing" and I would have it back Fri 11/2. Never happened. Since then I am unable to get hold of them via WA or email. I have a receipt on which they wrote the physical address of the business 22 Swiss St, Kempton Park. There is no such location. Sadly, I think I have been scammed.

ELITE TELEVISION REPAIRS
Found Elite Television Repairs on i/net and contacted them. They collected my TV on Sat 5 Feb 2022 with undertaking to have it back Tue 8/2 which never happened. Beware of scam tv repair business
Also known as Pelican Television Repairs. Search result for "TV Repair" returned a Google ad for Elite Television Repairs (www.elitetelevisionrepairs.co.za) at the top of the search result. Visited the site and called the number. They sent 2 technicians out, who communicated via WhatsApp on a different phone number. They checked my TV and said it needed to go into the workshop for repair. They gave me a receipt for the collection and said it will be returned same day in 4 hours. After 6 hours I asked on WhatsApp what was happening with my repair. No answer. I tried again 30 minutes later. No response. Next morning I called the number on the website and was told that the technician will be asked about the status of my repair. No returned call. Future calls to this number have been ignored. The WhatsApp number also gets no response for hours and when they do respond, they give you the runaround.

Elite Television Repairs are FAKE!!!!
Found this business on the internet called Elite Television Repairs - https://elitetelevisionrepairs.co.za/ - I called the number (0640712873 - owner - Peter) last Wednesday (13 October 2021) but a "technician" was sent out on the 14 October 2021 by the name of Micheal (cell: 0681931516) - he checked my television and took the main board out and gave me an invoice for R2000.00 - he was to come back the next day (15.10.2021) and with so many calls and whatsapps, he failed to reply or come back with the main board replacement - I tried calling Micheal and Peter right through to Saturday but was made empty promises. Today i looked at the invoice carefully and saw that the invoice belongs to Pelican Television Repairs, i compared the numbers and they were not the same so i called the number 0603656051 and spoke to Johnny from Pelican Television Repairs, explained the situation to him - said he will whatsapp me and i can forward the invoice to him, i received the whatsapp from the number 0680622998 - he said that Peter used to work for them and that it was unprofessional of Peter to use their invoice to bill me, he said that i should leave it to him to sort out and he will get back to me - I am yet to await a response....Elite Television Repairs is a scam and their website needs to come off the internet, I am appalled that there are people out there who are using another companies details to run a fake business, whats scary is that i let them into my home - please be careful for these people - i have no choice but to take this information to the police as this is a fake website (fraudsters)
