Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an outstanding refund that I have not yet received. On 16 January 2026, I sent my rims for repair and was promised that the work would be completed on the same day. I paid R1,500 for borrowed spare rims to use over the weekend. I returned the spare rims on 23 January 2026, and I was advised that the refund would be processed via Speed Point. As of today, 04 February 2026, I have still not received the refund — more than two weeks later. I have followed up with my bank, which confirmed that the amount showed as pending but never reflected in my account. I have since shared my latest bank statements with your team as requested, yet there has been no resolution. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and integrity in handling this matter. This delay is unacceptable, especially given that I fulfilled all my obligations promptly. I kindly request that this issue be urgently resolved and that proof of a successful refund be provided. Should this matter not be resolved immediately, I will be forced to escalate it further. I look forward to your prompt response. Kind regards, Halalisani Docter

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the appalling service I received from Empangeni Auto Renovators. My vehicle was handed over to them on 15 July 2025 following a minor front-end accident. Despite my insurance approving the repairs on 18 July, the car remains unfixed 60 days later, with no transparency, professionalism, or urgency from the staff or management. 👎 Staff Incompetence & Poor Communication • Reception: The receptionist lacks basic customer service skills—no diary, no record-keeping, and every call requiresrepeating the same information. Her attitude is dismissive and unprofessional. • Faith Fanyela (Service Advisor): Demonstrated a lack of knowledge and training. Even my insurance assessor, Dumisani, noted her inability to handle reports correctly and questioned her suitability for the role. • Lelanie Merensky (New Service Advisor): Promised that all parts were received by 20 August, yet the car remains untouched. Her updates have been misleading and inconsistent. 😡 Management Disrespect • Shaun (Director): His behavior is beyond rude—he undermines clients and shows no respect for customers or staff. When I raised concerns, he refused to acknowledge any fault and told me he was no longer interested in fixing my car, instructing my insurer to find another panel beater. 📉 Timeline of Failures • 15 July: Car received. • 18 July: Insurance approval. • Mid-August: Assessor confirmed parts delivery and estimated 2 weeks for repairs. • 20 August: Service advisor confirmed parts were received. • 12 September: Promised completion date missed. • 10 September: I was informed the car would only be ready by 19 September, ruining my birthday plans and family trip. To make matters worse, I was recently told the left shocks are damaged, despite earlier claims that suspension and engine checks were completed and everything was fine. ❌ Final Verdict Empangeni Auto Renovators has shown a complete lack of professionalism, competence, and respect. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their staff is undertrained, their communication is chaotic, and their leadership is hostile and dismissive. Customers deserve better—and people need to be warned.
