I'm very frustrated with these New bekezela smart meter that consume too much units we spend R1000 a week at Cosmo ext 10,some other people stay without electricity when they call Eskom that are told they don't know those smart meters.can someone check how many complain with this Bekezela smart meters

We have been without electricity since Sunday evening, we are still waiting for assistance. This is the 3rd day without electricity, my food is going off, clothing that needs to be ironed, getting unpaid leave as I was told to be at home when Eskom arrives...when calling again, it's told...that the matter has been resolved but nothing has been resolved. How do you do that to other people by ticking on your log book that something is resolved when you know full well you are lying....but you will enjoy the money you receive when you get paid....what an honest earning hey. Eskom you must have something in place that people can sign or acknowledge that the job has been completed. As some of these workers do not give a **** about the service quality they rendering... " As long as it's not affecting them" mentality.

We have been without electricity since Sunday evening, we are still waiting for assistance. I have reported cable theft on 3rd December 2025 my local Eskom is at fetakgomo municipalty at Apel Gankwana,this is horror the technicians allocated to my case,keep on reporting that job has been excuted,but no 1 showed up,when call Eskom national ,they keep on changing references I am on 3rd reference on 20/12 /2025 ref.1057000585,1057000586 and lastly 1071821848 guys this guy's are Eskom money giving us customers 0.service with lies.

I’m a paying customer from Nkandla, Emcakweni (Nkonisa area). Two weeks ago, we lost electricity due to strong winds. We reported it to Eskom (Ref: 96538****), but no one came. After over a week with no response, the electricity was eventually restored — we assumed Eskom had finally resolved the issue. Then yesterday, Eskom arrived and disconnected our electricity again, claiming that some people in the area don’t buy electricity. This is deeply frustrating and unfair. Why should paying, law-abiding customers be punished for the actions of others? Eskom should follow a door-to-door process, checking each household and dealing directly with those not complying — not switch off the power for an entire community. This approach is unprofessional and makes paying customers feel neglected and disrespected. We deserve fair treatment and urgent answers.

My power is disconnected and I paid the fine on the 22nd January 2025. The people who disconnected; they said if we paid on the following day it will be connected. When I was at Eskom on 22/01/2025; someone who assisted; she called the technician department to confirm if they have Meter boxes and they said yes. I've doing follow up but still nothing not reconnection .

I paid for reconnection fee and patiently waited for 14 working days which has sadly passed,I am a diabetic relying on electricity for medication storage and diet preparation,they are selfish and you can't get them on the 086 number,your darn airtime will get finished while you are waiting for an answer and the stupid computer response doesn't make it any easier.This is the most selfish government entity I have come across

I have been 4 days without electricity logged a complain4 Friday and received a reference number...Apparently eskom doesn't work over weekends after I spend alot of money on airtime trying to contact them and my query was pending Went to Bellville to there office this morning and was told it was approved and I need 2 get home as ther will be there shortly...Its after 4 and I still don't have electricity #EskomIsPathetic
