I bought paint at this store just before Christmas last year. The employee assisting with the paint failed to seal the lid properly and it spilled in my car, causing R12 000 of damages. I went back after the spill and tried to speak to the manager or owner, who had always "just stepped out." Spent a lot of money trying to remove the paint, to no avail. While no one at the store denied liability, could never get hold.of the manager or owner. Finally this year the manager reappeared - he was in fact on 5 weeks leave, yet the staff had me come back again and again saying he if there but just out. The manager promised to sort it out but then stopped responding. I was willing to sort this out amicably but now have no option but to warn other cudtomers and take legal action to recover at the very least the excess on my insurance. Extremely disappointing considering the high standard of other businesses in Midstream.

I have been trying for nearly 2 months to get a 10 amp plug fuse for my car battery charger and spoken to at least 4 different sales assistants there. The first time I went there I took the battery charger that wasn't working with and the guy didn't even know to check if the fuse was blown. When I figured it out myself I went back to get the fuse but they don't have the 10 amp rating available. I was told that it would be ordered but so far I've been back there every week with no luck and then the next guy just promises that he will order it for me. Over the years I've supported them many times and spent quite a lot of money there but it seems the fuse is too cheap to make an effort to get for me.

Bought some 3 20 liters of paint 3 weeks back , The quality Is so bad that the paint don’t stay on the wall with slight water on it. When trying to go Register my unhappiness, Jamil the manager did not want to even look at the product, whether there was a factory fault. He referred me to their days of return period. Beware of this company selling bad quality and hiding around days you need to return the goods. The consumer protection Act ensures that consumers rights to safe ad quality goods. I can’t attest that they paint whether I used it when did not serve the intended purpose and the quality needs much to be desired. Have been their customer and I get this treatment
