On 2 November 2024, I contacted Mr Bertie Therion regarding installation of solar geyser after being referred by a friend. After several communications, the deposit was paid by 7 November 2024 and he advised that installation would take place 9 November 2024.
Since then, installion date has been moved 10 times up to the point where he was given an ultimatum - installation or refund. He then chose to do refund.
The same app**** for refund as for installation - excuse after excuse and on 4 occassions, he assured me that deposit was paid by his supplier as he returned the geyser. He even went as far as saying that should his supplier not have refunded me by 14.00 on Tues 19 November 2024, he will do the refund.
Personally, I feel the transaction was between myself and Mr Therion and he can sort out his matters with his supplier.
On Wednesday, 20 November 2024, his supplier, Mr John Verster from FBSA, contacted me regarding refund and said that it will only be done by 27 November 2024 to which I rep**** that it is totally unacceptable. Deposit was paid on the 7th... it is 20 days later. Once again, excuses to come back to me regarding the payment of the refund... excuses that to date I have not heard from either Mr Therion or Mr Verster.
This after ai send Mr Therion an e-mail giving him the opportunity to sort this amicably and ensure that refund reflects in my account by no later than close of busines, Friday, 22 November 2024. I did not hear from him.
