On 2 November 2024, I contacted Mr Bertie Therion regarding installation of solar geyser after being referred by a friend. After several communications, the deposit was paid by 7 November 2024 and he advised that installation would take place 9 November 2024. Since then, installion date has been moved 10 times up to the point where he was given an ultimatum - installation or refund. He then chose to do refund. The same app**** for refund as for installation - excuse after excuse and on 4 occassions, he assured me that deposit was paid by his supplier as he returned the geyser. He even went as far as saying that should his supplier not have refunded me by 14.00 on Tues 19 November 2024, he will do the refund. Personally, I feel the transaction was between myself and Mr Therion and he can sort out his matters with his supplier. On Wednesday, 20 November 2024, his supplier, Mr John Verster from FBSA, contacted me regarding refund and said that it will only be done by 27 November 2024 to which I rep**** that it is totally unacceptable. Deposit was paid on the 7th... it is 20 days later. Once again, excuses to come back to me regarding the payment of the refund... excuses that to date I have not heard from either Mr Therion or Mr Verster. This after ai send Mr Therion an e-mail giving him the opportunity to sort this amicably and ensure that refund reflects in my account by no later than close of busines, Friday, 22 November 2024. I did not hear from him.
Renewed my contract and looked at 3 different phones... Samsung S23FE, Samsung S24 (any of 3) or iPhone 15. There wax a deal on Samsung S24 (any of 3), till end of March where you receive R2000 cashback. I went for that deal (S24) and the only accessories (Samsung approved) available for phone was charging block and car charger. No cover, no screen protector!!! At no point was I told - lets see which of 3 Samsung S24 offers we have accessories for or anything. That is misleading the customer and false advertising.
I bought rump meat on special at Pick 'n Pay Heidelberg. There were 4 pieces of club / t-bone steak with one piece of rump on top to look like a full pack of rump. I bought 3 packs. I took fotos of this. This all were sold as rump steak!
MTN Nigel Store... worst service ever. Appauling. After struggling almost a month for MTN to get back to you and then having to deal with an arrogant staff at Nigel store.
I was contacted regarding great package where MTN offered a wifi package with uncapped data and this package comes with a 5G modem that lasts 6 - 8 hrs in casr of power outages. On receipt of modem, it wad 3G/4G. I contacted MTN customer care via e-mail cancelling the deal. I offered to return modem to nearest branch. I have had no response
Pamphlet for promotion 20 January - 09 Februaru 2022 advertised Shade Cloth for R1699.99 per roll. I drove over 30 km for them to say advertised price is incorrect and price is R2399.99. That is false advertising and as a vustomer, I was mislead by their adverti*****t. Surely the consumer protection act is against adverti*****ts like this
How do you explain Vodacom...? I get 2GB data every month that I use on my Wi-Fi - for evening and weekend use. The no is ********** . Last month when I received it on the 1st, it was depleted before 17.00 that same day. I queried it and apparently it was all correct - the data was used. On the 13th of last month, I bought 1GB of data on Cell C - valid for a month. Yesterday when the data expired, I still had 450MB of data left. I switched on my Wi-Fi which I have again my new months' 2GB of data. When I checked this morning, I had 189.63MB left. How do you explain it? It is the same phone, the same usage, no apps open (otherwise Cell C data will also get used). This just proofs that the data charges on my account IO40213-7, number ********** is also incorrect as I do not use the data!!!!! I have Wi-Fi at work and work 7 days a week.
Received account for data used R3500 and over R4000 the next month. R4000 was credited but not R3500. I am connected wi-fi Mon - Sat (at work) and have a limit on my account as I know what my budget allows. Now even if I dispute the amount I can only pay it over 3 months - over and above my normal monthly account. Who has that kind of budget?
