Disgusted - Private Healthcare at its worst!!

My son is 11 months old and was vommiting for 2 days. I took him to the EMERGENCY unit emphasis on Emergency!

Waited 2 hours and when we got seen was told to let him vommit but not stop feeding or giving him formula. Now I am no dr but surely that would have lead to dehydration?!

I was so upset they sent us home bit not before running a swine flu test. Told us to call back the following day at 12.

I did this the person asked for his ID number which i provided but they called back to tell me they cant pick him up with his ID number they need his name i should understand they have alot of kids that came in with ID numbers???

Needless to say i am still waiting for the reults and think should you have to go thhere with a emergency you wont be making it home!
