I would like to counter this malicious report about Eureka Mills. And I would like to stress the person who found items in his bag of Eureka Mills, well that is unfortunate. But they did reach out to you to refund you, which is what everyone with good ethics would do. I have been perplexed that Eureka Mills is vanishing out of shops and did not know the reason why. Now I know. Well I have told everyone of this hero Eureka flour, from their Cake wheat flour, to their brown bread flour, the digestive brand, the white bread flour is all of very good quality and makes the most excellent artisan bread imaginable. I have gone so far to brag about our own family owned sto*****und flour to Americans visiting and they want to know where they can buy it and buy in bulk. I have bought in bulk from a retailer of Eureka Mills and the quality of the flour is by far superior above anything else available. The general manager of Eureka Mills has contacted me personally, wanting to know where I shop so that he can supply them with their flour. Rightly so, it is the best available by far. There is no comparison in quality. I bake lovely artisan bread from it. One sour fly in the soup spoils the whole thing. I am fishing that fly out and saying, see the lovely soup and forget about the one fly that had an unfortunate experience that would probably not be repeated. They are suppliers of excellent flour, they cannot stand in for every single store that keeps their flour. And why are people not baking their own healthy bread, so that flour that can go ransit easily left to stand for waste. So please homebakers, potential healthy people, go out and let Mr Nico Steyn know, at their email address: info@eurekamills.co.za to please resupply your Checkers, Food *****s market in your area with your choice of flour. You will not be disappointed. MvdM

Cake Flour 2.5 kg infested with weevil larvae. Expiry date 17/07/2021. Sent an email with photos to the company with no response. Been a loyal customer for several years but will be reluctant to continue my support.

I bought two packets of Euraka Mills pizza base flour from Pick n Pay and when I opened the packet I found worms and webs in the flour it was absolutely disgusting!!!! So I emailed the customer complaints address that was on the packaging and Nina Steenkamp marketing manager of Euraka Mills replied to my email and apologized blah blah blah she said she would refund me honestly I couldn't be bothered about the R80 refund but what annoys me and makes me so angry is that she sent me the email on the 01/03 and to date I have received any reply from her.. I emailed her numerous times and no response. What happened to customer care??? It's so disappointing that the marketing manager is so unprofessional.

Today I am disgusted by the lack of quality control that seems to be occurring at Eureka Mills. My friends and I have been posting about this usually-incredible flour as I LOVE the bread that I have been able to make with it for years. But this morning, not one, but TWO of the Eureka Mills Potbrood Easy home Mix 1kg saw some worms crawling out of my mixing bowl. And upon further inspection, I saw webs and what seemed to be more eggs along the inside of the package. While I was alarmed, I was happy that I had a 2nd package so that my plans to give some fresh bread to my father for his 77th birthday today were not thwarted. But opening a second bag, a dead worm was folded into the package and more eggs/webs on the inner package. The packing date for one is 30th Sept 2020 and the Best Before is 28th May 2021. The dates for the other package were exactly the same. So a bad batch perhaps? These were bought at Pick n Pay just a few weeks apart - the last one bought just last weekend on Saturday 16th January. How does this begin to happen?

I bought Eureka mill's Rusk mix, about 4 months ago, but the moment I baked it the smell of soap filled the air and even worse it tasted like soap too! I contacted them and they sent me 2 new packs, after much anticipation I tried them again this week, this time I didn't get the smell of soap so I was very hopefull. But the first bite I took was disgusting, it tasted like I took a bite of a bar of soap!!!!!!!! Please don't waste your money with buying their products!!!!
