I am extremely disappointed with the poor service and inaccurate reporting by Experian.
I previously disputed the Acquifin account ACQUFIN - 34276790 under dispute reference EXP20260327-CD189904. The dispute was resolved in my favour, and the account was confirmed as closed. Despite this, the account has suddenly reappeared as OPEN on my credit profile without any explanation or notification.
This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about Experian’s data accuracy and dispute resolution processes. How can an account that was officially resolved and closed suddenly become active again?
Consumers rely on credit bureaus to report accurate information, especially when applying for finance. Incorrectly re-listing accounts can negatively impact a person’s credit profile and financial opportunities.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I already provided all the required supporting documents during the dispute process, and the matter was supposedly finalised. Now I am forced to deal with the exact same issue again because of Experian’s negligence.
Experian needs to:
* Immediately correct and close the account ACQUFIN - 34276790 again * Remove any incorrect outstanding balance linked to this account * Explain how a resolved dispute was reversed despite the dispute outcome already being in my favour * Improve their internal controls and customer service processes
This level of incompetence from a major credit bureau is unacceptable.
