I was called by a broker representing this business the week before last and decided to sign up with Discovery Insure as my vehicles are currently insured with First for Women and Budget respectively

I was called by a broker representing this business the week before last and decided to sign up with Discovery Insure as my vehicles are currently insured with First for Women and Budget respectively. I already have medical aid with Discovery (my wife is on the oncology benefit) and decided to move my vehicle cover over as well. The broker assured me there would be no debit order going off of my account with my current insurers and that he would cancel my existing insurance on my behalf. I am sure you can imagine my unhappiness when both my current insurers and Discovery Insure debited my account. The net result is that my medical aid debit order bounced meaning neither my wife nor myself is currently covered in terms of our medical aid.
