I went to replace a tyre at Fastfit in Rustenburg on saturday and my backpack that had the laptop in it was ****** from their premises. I phoned them immediately when I discovered that my laptop was missing and they told me they will check the surveillance. I went to the store this morning when they opened I was there,I was informed that the manager was not available. An hour later they phoned me to say they have checked the surveillance however the cameras were off which I find very convenient.

After my vehicle failed it’s roadworthy test, I was advised to replace the rear shocks and adjust the handbrake. I purchased the shocks, handbrake cable, brake lining and rear wheel bearings and gave it to Fasfit to install and redo the test. All parts size, brand etc was as recommended by Fasfit. 10 000km later, the handbrake is still not effective and there is a distinct wheel bearing noise. An independent workshop advised me that the same wheel bearings and shoe linings need to be replaced. The service at Fasfit was unprofessional and took several days to “replace” the faulty parts. It was expensive and I am now told the “new” parts need to be replaced.

Fasfit Alberton (know a Roadway Tyres)

I was at the fasfit Alberton branch 2 weekend ago to get exhaust branchers fitted to my car at first i was told it would cost R250 to fit the branchs to my car as it was my own branchs, then i was charged another R570 for a nackle to fit the branch and so happened the branch i had just needed to get 1 hole drilled so it could fit where i was told it would take 1hour to drill a hole on the branch and will cost R350, after that was done when i got to the till to pay my bill i was charged another R250 labour. I paid the amount of R1420 then i was going to leave the shop as the job was done then to find out my car would not start, i sat the more than 2hours trying to get my car sorted out, i got my car started and got home. I then took my car to and auto electrician over this past weekend and was told that the people who fitted my branchs burnt the wiring when taking earth to weld, today i call the owner to tell him what had happen and what it costed me to sort out my wiring which they damaged and all he said to me was this never happened before so he is sorry to hear and he will speak to his guys so that it dont happen again.
