Registering a transfer without valid COC or electricity connection
I do not recommend Ferhana Jada Attorneys based on my recent experience with them as the conveyancer in the sale of my house. I engaged them in September 2025 to handle the transfer of my property. Throughout the process, I raised serious concerns regarding the electrical compliance of the house, specifically that: The property did not have a valid Certificate of Compliance (COC) for electrical installation. The house was not legally connected to the City Power grid (it was bridged). The distribution board was unsafe — no designated circuit breakers for lights, plugs, stove, etc., which is a basic statutory requirement. Despite repeatedly raising these concerns in writing with the attorney, the selling agent, and the seller, no meaningful action was taken to resolve the issues. Instead: They appointed an electrician who installed a new meter and meter pad that is not connected to City Power and does not work. An “electrical certificate” was issued claiming everything is compliant and in good order — which is clearly not true and *****ulent. The attorney agreed to withhold funds from the seller to cover electrical defects but has failed to pay for any corrective work, and still retains the funds. Throughout this process, communication was extremely poor, responses were dismissive, and I was left to deal with unsafe electrical problems after the sale was finalised. I expected a professional attorney to ensure legal compliance and protect my interests; instead, I was ignored and left with safety risks. Overall experience: very disappointing and unprofessional.

Pathetic service
I am completely appalled at this business, I have absolutely no idea how they are still operating. First and foremost I wish the seller of my property didn’t use this business that constantly puts us at a disadvantage. My husband and I purchased a property in June please tell me how in September we still do not have a conclusion!!!! Whenever we ask for update there’s always an issue with the city of Johannesburg continently whereas several of our friends have had their houses lodged within a space of a month. We have to suck our thumbs out for communication including our transferring attorneys they keep having to send emails with no response. The financial burden my family and I have to keep incurring paying for rent and storage is starting to **** me off immensely. If my bond does not get registered this week please expect legal action the service is pathetic in fact close this business down because there’s no service being delivered

Ferhana Jada Attorneys house sale
I Thulani Mlotshwa together with Nomhle Man***i who was my fiancee at the time would like to withdraw claims that were made against Ferhana Jada and also apologies with regards to a sale of a house on 07 February 2019 which involve Lucas Molobela. The matter has been settled and I would like to Thank Ferhana Attorneys for their help and assistance in this regard.Would also like to withdraw all the statements made.

Appalling Client Service
I am so appalled by this law firm and really shocked by their level of unprofessionalism. Not sure why you would register someone's property in 9 days and fail to register another one in two months especially for a property that was sold cash. It has been difficult getting updates from this company and worse they dont feel they owe you that as a client. It was the first time I heard of it and am beyond shocked at how it operates. I will never advise anyone to go anywhere near this company or so called law firm unless f you want to watch your life getting messed up.

Appalling Client Service

Poor and disappointing service
Ferhana Jada Attorney, they are such a disappointing and disgusting law firm. They started with my property transfer and registration in January 2022, and now it is towards the end of March 2023, and they are still failing to register the property and pay me my money. Their communication is abysmal and they do not care about customers and only think for themselves. Their secretary Susan Mokoena is worse than all that you have seen. I do not encourage anyone to use their service, they are so bad

Wonderful efficient service
Transfer of a property done in 9 days ....yes you read right ...... 9 days in total and registration was complete Absolute pleasure dealing with Yusuf Jada. One meeting to sign of documents and the next visit is to collect your title deed. Plus they don't cost the world to do the job Will be recommended any day Pure professional and a a blessing to work with
