I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Thyme Fit Chef.
I am still owed a refund of R4,748.99 for a meal kit (14day challenge – Luxury - Paid on 22May’25) that I ordered twice and, on both occasions, meals had been swapped out and juices missing – besides the 1st kit having arrived thawed out and late.
Despite sending numerous emails and follow-ups, I have received no response and no resolution to my last 3 email attempts.
Whilst I acknowledge that a replacement order was sent and that steps were being taken to correct the issue going forward, these actions did not resolve the core problem: I did not receive the product I initially paid for, as advertised and promised – TWICE!
Simone & Brian tried to justify their attempts to shift responsibility away from their company and onto me. They appreciated my feedback which they admitted helped uncover and address a system error that impacted the alignment between my meal plan and the packing process – TWICE. However, after thorough internal review, their team decided not to proceed with a refund.
This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for a straightforward matter is completely unacceptable. I was more than patient, but being ignored repeatedly has left me with no choice but to lodge formal complaints with the National Consumer Commission and the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
I strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this company. Based on my experience, they do not uphold basic standards of customer service or ethical business practice.
