Flamingo Holiday Flats can be terrible! Don't pay up front as they will request!
We were looking forward to our holiday for many months, but sadly we ended up at this venue. Not only did we have to leave after 2 days because we couldn't endure staying longer, the staff refused to refund our payment for the duration we were not going to be staying there. The owners also refused to even speak to us about our problem.
The main problem is that you're unlikely to get any sleep, since loud noise and music is allowed. They'll say it isn't, but just try to get them to enforce it...they don't! Even when the music is off, the people talk and shout at each other right next to your bedroom! We couldn't sleep either of the nights we spent there. We phoned the after hours number, the security number (who didn't know where the venue was), and the police. All multiple times. After the first night we spoke to the staff, but the second night was just as bad, and it was a different set of guests.
What makes it worse is that the staff told us it's a typical problem with their guests of a certain skin color...I felt that comment unnecessary, and our problem was not initially even caused by their favorite accused anyway!
Additionally the TV signal is terrible, the curtains are damaged, the BBQ is dilapidated and if you want air conditioning be prepared to pay R 50 extra per day.
