I am very happy with the products and service received through Solar Advice. The online tool to estimate the price and requirements is very useful. The installation team was also very helpful. As a small constructive criticism the installation team can improve by bringing their own clean up equipment.
I've banked with Nedbank for over 15 years, and am a happy customer. I recently made an online purchase from Mr.Shopper, which turned out to be a terrible experience. I have a separate review for them. However, I lodged a fraud complaint through Nedbank and was assisted professionally and timely. I recommend Nedbank.
Shocking service and deliveries do not get made. Pelican Express seems to in association with Mr.Shopper, another company whom I have reviewed. Between them you do no get any informative response on queries. Delivery dates just get postponed and you never receive your package. They can't/won't tell you where your package is and their tracker only shows a percentage which remains constant for days on end. Sometimes it will increment marginally, but what does this even mean? To me is seems they are just stringing the buyer along. I'd strongly recommend you stay away, as there are many other options whom are very good.
DO NOT USE Mr.Shopper! Mr Shopper advertises too-good-to-be-true prices on their website and if you make a purchase you find out why. They do not respond to any emails sent to their support email address, and your order does not get delivered. They seem to own the courier they use, Pelican Express. I am adding a separate review for them. As a summary they won't tell you where your package is and they only show a percentage on their tracker. This percentage often remains constant for days on end, and then increments by small amounts in between. What does this even mean? For me it means they are stringing you as the buyer along. Mr.Shopper claims they will do refunds, but as mentioned they do not even reply on refund requests. I notice they sometimes respond on Hello Peter reviews, but I suspect this is only to get more people to hand over their money. I demanded a refund, and informed them that should this not be done promptly I will have to take action. Now, I am following all avenues available to me including, 1) Reported then for fraud with my bank and am now following my banks fraud procedure. 2) Reported them to PayFast who facilitated the payment. 3) Reporting them to the NCC (National Consumer Commission). Please do not make the same mistake I did. It's really not worth it.
Flamingo Holiday Flats can be terrible! Don't pay up front as they will request! We were looking forward to our holiday for many months, but sadly we ended up at this venue. Not only did we have to leave after 2 days because we couldn't endure staying longer, the staff refused to refund our payment for the duration we were not going to be staying there. The owners also refused to even speak to us about our problem. The main problem is that you're unlikely to get any sleep, since loud noise and music is allowed. They'll say it isn't, but just try to get them to enforce it...they don't! Even when the music is off, the people talk and shout at each other right next to your bedroom! We couldn't sleep either of the nights we spent there. We phoned the after hours number, the security number (who didn't know where the venue was), and the police. All multiple times. After the first night we spoke to the staff, but the second night was just as bad, and it was a different set of guests. What makes it worse is that the staff told us it's a typical problem with their guests of a certain skin color...I felt that comment unnecessary, and our problem was not initially even caused by their favorite accused anyway! Additionally the TV signal is terrible, the curtains are damaged, the BBQ is dilapidated and if you want air conditioning be prepared to pay R 50 extra per day. Hope that everything actually works out well for you, cause you won't get any of your money back.
