Maerua Mall FNB branch:
With my FNB card, I tried depositing money into my own account, at your Maerua mall ATM, the deposit said error while being processed, then the atm gave me a receipt with error code T550. NOT RETURNING MY MONEY. So now i do not have my money, there is no notifications on my banking app and the error receipt says deposit unsuccessful. I immediately went into the branch and filled in a form with all details and copy of card/receipt/ID which the lady would send through to a dispute department.
The audacity that the biggest bank in Namibia tells me it takes 5-7 working days to get my own money back due to a FAULT ON YOUR SIDE, is really just shocking.
By now you should know if this ATM cash deposit option is working or not, doesn't help you keep saying “its in a trial stage”.... this is a inconvenience for me and not acceptable to keep happening.
My suggestion: Service your ATM’s weekly or COMPLETELY REMOVE THIS CASH DEPOSIT AT ALL YOUR ATM’S... you have all these signs in the bank teller stating clients should “avoid the queues” and go deposit cash at ATM’s but then the ATM’s swallow the money, gives out an error receipt and the money is just gone. This is the second time this is happening in less than a year. NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL. This is not how a bank who works with peoples money should be operating.
