I lost my phone through an armed ******* and I filed for a claim because I do not just want to stop paying and also totally ignore,I also need the phone I still have months to pay for the contract only for my claim to be cancelled after making a mistake of forgetting the three digits of a case number which I fixed immediately after realizing online and I also sent an email,tell me why there's no answer?And please kindly use an email to communicate with me as I cannot take any calls or write an sms because I used someone else's phone, I need the phone it's been a week and no reply come on guys considering these many poor reviews should make you consider our feelings I am a student I need the phone immediately please guys alternatively I can give you a WhatsApp number to communicate with y'all.

I am writing to formally raise my dissatisfaction regarding the extremely poor level of service and lack of empathy I have experienced from Foneyam, specifically from consultant Foneyam and his manager, Qamani. The treatment I have received is completely unacceptable. It is deeply concerning that, as a paying customer, I am being told that Foneyam is not concerned about my inability to access the device I am currently paying for. I was further instructed to take the matter up with Pep Stores, despite the fact that my contractual agreement and payments are made to Foneyam, not Pep. At the time of signing my contract, I used my driver’s license as identification with a Foneyam agent. Now, I am being redirected elsewhere for assistance, with no responsibility or support being taken by your team. This is both frustrating and unreasonable. I also find it unacceptable that I am expected to continue making payments by the 1st of June, while I am unable to access a replacement device due to circumstances beyond my control, including the loss of my ID. The dismissive attitude displayed, particularly by Qamani, has only worsened the situation. I would like to highlight that I have previously been assisted by Dylan, who handled the matter professionally and without arrogance. This clearly demonstrates that appropriate service is possible, yet it is not being consistently delivered. Please note that I am no longer seeking explanations or redirection. I require an urgent and concrete resolution to this matter. Should this not be addressed promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the issue further and share my experience across various platforms.

Xamani the team leader is very rude and raising voice when speaking to me.Their agent know nothing about phone yam contracts and always put me on hold for more than 10minutes.I lost my phone and the claim was approved the contract says I can opt out not get a new cellphone but im told I can't.why? I don't want to deal with you,your services are frustrating.and Xamani is telling.me I need to pay cancelation fee of R1815.00 for a cellphone I don't have and the insurance claim was approved.

Dear FoneYam Support Team, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding an incorrect payment that was made and the difficulties I have experienced in resolving this matter. On [24 May 2026], I made a payment of R270 via the Capitec banking app. Unfortunately, the payment was processed using an incorrect reference number. My correct FoneYam account number is 11136010034410677, however the payment was mistakenly allocated to 11369900085247535. Immediately after noticing the error, I contacted my bank (Capitec) to request assistance in reversing the transaction. However, I was informed that they are unable to recover or reverse the funds and advised me to contact FoneYam Since then, I have made several attempts to resolve this issue through your customer support channels. Unfortunately, I have experienced poor customer service, including being repeatedly transferred from one department to another without resolution, and I have not received any effective assistance. I was also informed that the matter would take 5–7 working days for feedback, however my account has since been locked, preventing me from accessing the service despite payment being made. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and frustration, as I have made every effort to resolve the matter through the correct channels.I kindly request the following urgent assistance: Investigation of the incorrect payment allocation Reversal or transfer of the R270 to my correct account Immediate unlocking of my FoneYam account A clear update on the status and resolution timeline Attached are my proof of payment and relevant banking correspondence for your reference. I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter, as I have already made several unsuccessful attempts to resolve it.

I bought my phone cash in 2024 at pep cell but foneyam locked my phone while I don't have contract with them.I called and emailed them several times since they locked my phone on the 28th of April till today 25th of May but they don't have any promising solution up to so *****heir services is so poor.be advised never to purchase your phones from pep cell or Ackermans

I've never been more disappointed in a company I have the Samsung phone just for one month now with FoneYam my daughter unexpectedly passed away due to her battle with cancer so due to all the expenses involved I couldn't afford my FoneYam and because its only a month old I did go to pep to ask if I can I return it and get my deposit back and I am told the deposit os noon refundable and I can't return the phone how come is this not explained before takeing out the phone not even on your website is it showed that the upfort payment is none refundable and I think this is unacceptable that it's not made clear before takeing the phone and now I don't know what to do at all

I just bought my new phone today Just to realize some of my phone's settings are locked under foneyam. Currently saying my phone belongs to an organization. I prepaid my cellphone and didn't take it umder foneyam now i can't turn it off never buying any phone at pep any longer. and i don't recomend

I hired my cellphone from them. As soon as I finished paying the installments and bought the phone from them, the phone started to give me problems. It started to shut down on its own, thereafter it started not to allow me to open it. As we speak I have to force to shut it down if I want to access it.
