I purchased an Alliance comfee from Makro on28/11/2024. It was installed on 04/12/2024. Worked 1 month. On 4/01/2025 it stopped cooling. Makro was contacted on 8/01/20245 and a report was made. The supplier, Fourways Airconditioning was contacted by Makro and refused to credit me or replace the aircon. It is 1 month old. They want to repair it with a part from another aircon. A technician inpected the unit and reported to Fourways. Countless visits and calls to Makro Cornubia proved fruitless as no solution was found. This involved my cost i.r.o. petrol and unreturned telephone calls. On 27/01/2025 (20 days later); without any consideration for my inconvenience, a PC BOARD was replaced. Only to find that the aircon still does not cool. Further repairs are forthcoming. How long more? I have no faith in Makro, Fourways aironditioning and in an Alliance Comfee aircon.
