On28/11/2024 I purchased a Alliance Comfee aircon from Makro. Installed t on 4/12/2024. One month later it stopped cooling. Reported to Makro on 8/01/2025. I was told that they will contact the supplier for a credit appoval, then only willI be credited. I visited the store numerous times at my cost as most calls to the store remained unanswered, messages left for call backs never happen. I had to contact the supplier i.e. Fourways airconditioning as Makro was slow in solving my issue. Its today 28/01/2025 (20 days after first report); the R9000.00 aircon that is only 1 MONTH OLD stands non-functional. Makro after sales service is pathetic. Their promise to satisfy customers is false. Some of their employees cannot make decisions although they are in Mangerial positions. Customer satisfaction does not exist. MAKRO's warrantee and guarantee promise is non-existant.
I purchased an Alliance comfee from Makro on28/11/2024. It was installed on 04/12/2024. Worked 1 month. On 4/01/2025 it stopped cooling. Makro was contacted on 8/01/20245 and a report was made. The supplier, Fourways Airconditioning was contacted by Makro and refused to credit me or replace the aircon. It is 1 month old. They want to repair it with a part from another aircon. A technician inpected the unit and reported to Fourways. Countless visits and calls to Makro Cornubia proved fruitless as no solution was found. This involved my cost i.r.o. petrol and unreturned telephone calls. On 27/01/2025 (20 days later); without any consideration for my inconvenience, a PC BOARD was replaced. Only to find that the aircon still does not cool. Further repairs are forthcoming. How long more? I have no faith in Makro, Fourways aironditioning and in an Alliance Comfee aircon.
I am a pensioner who paid for the service on 2024 07 31. To date I am waiting for connection. Money paid to Noluvuyiso Jafete's account. Hope he/she chokes on food eaten when bought with our money. This Waka reseller is dishonest. Several attempts were made for help from the Waka tv site. No joy.
I received a call i.r.o. an upgrade. I refused any change to th data benefits that I am currently receving. I was given an option to add on 50 minutes all network calls p/m for an additional R20. I agreed. Later Upon checking there is no 50 minutes all network calls added on. This idiot added on data benifits that I dont need. I am persuing this matter. Watch out forcalls from call centre ******. Rather do business instore.
I went to the circuit office in Phoenix to seek assistance about bullying at school. I was referred to the circuit office to consult Dr. Singh hoping to find a safe enviroment for my child. She has chairs in her office but never offered me a seat. She bluntly refused to hear me out. She referred me back to school and told me to deal with the principal. No skills in dealing with issues that could be life threatening. Its shocking to find a person like that given a position to manage school issues. No people skills. Rationality is intelligence , not Academic Qualification
We purchased a lounge suite in December 2019 for R28000 cash. The 3 seater started losing its shape by collapsing and ripping apart at the seams after a few months. Sucasa was informed and attended to the issue. Shortly thereafter the 2 seater had the same ripping at the seam. Attempts made to contact Su casa was in vain due to closure i.t.o COVID Lockdown [under6 months from purchase]. Eventually contact was made. Emails received stated that the period for complaint has expired. Their closure during this period was not considered. After some persuasion it was Poorly attended to. After just 1 yr. the set is now falling apart again. After just 1year and R28000. At that price I never expected this quality of workmanship. I dare not contact Su Casa as "period" of warrantee is over. Its now just over a year. R28000 for a set that lasts for just a year is not what I expected. Do not let the OUTER look deceive you. Hope this helps someone who worked hard for their money. Look at other options.
