This is the worst experience and ***** as the same time. I bought 2 S26 phones. Yesterday i got it. I opened the one and found in 10 minutes that it heated up. I called them and told them that i want to cancel the contract. I was told that i have 14 days to cancel if i am not happy. Now i was told that i will have to wait 30 days for cancelation. in which they will take a debit order for the phones. The closed phone will also , will take 30 days. Do not take a contract with these people as they lie and now want to take debit orders even though they have taken the admin fee already and i said that is fine. They are cooks and i am taking them to the ombudsman.

I had a call yesterday from Cell direct. The agent was very rude and also did not accept no for an answer. So just after the call, he switch off my all my contract numbers so that I don't have any access to the internet or can't make calls. I am highly upset because I have been a loyal Customer for years with Telkom and is also my right when I want to upgrade or not. I will get my lawyer involved in this case

This company needs to be held accountable. The lady who phoned me and misrepresented herself as a Telkom employee in order to renew my contract must have been the rudest person i have ever delt with. Does not afford me any opportunity to speak, forces their deals down your throat and simply does not even have the common decency to listen to 2 sentences without interruption. Surely Telkom cannot be happy with these agents. This has left such a bad taste in my mouth i feel like cancelling my Telkom contract just to avoid ever having to deal with such disrespect!!! Where can we report as i see many people have similar experiences.

I had the misfortune of answering a call from an entitled, arrogant sales agent from Celldirect "on behalf of Telkom". I explained I was not interested in taking any new data contracts - I was in mid-sentence when the agent terminated the call.

Spam / ****. Call from a new number every time, lying about personal information and affiliations, I have asked several times to stop as I don't even have or use any of the services they sell, yet they incessantly try to **** folks.

To the Dialler Team / Dialler Manager at Cell Direct, The way you are handling lead dialing is completely non-compliant and creates a terrible customer experience. Frankly, this approach should lead to serious consequences for your team. I receive calls from your contact center at least three times a day across multiple Telkom numbers, including those I have only shared with family members. The purpose of these calls is always to offer a cellphone contract upgrade. Despite repeatedly declining the offer and explicitly requesting to be placed on the Do Not Call (DNC) list multiple times, I am still receiving these calls. If an agent is properly dispositioning my call as DNC or Not Interested, I should not be contacted again—certainly not within the same day or even the same week. This persistent dialing is intrusive, frustrating, and clearly non-compliant with industry regulations. I urge you to review your dialler settings, compliance processes, and agent training immediately. Failing to do so could lead to formal complaints with regulatory bodies. If you need help managing your dialler properly, feel free to reach out. I work for a dialler provider and can teach your team how to implement proper compliance measures and avoid issues like this. I am extremely upset as Cell direct me into debt and now I can't get a job!!!! When an agent from cell direct called me to sell me a phone and a router, I accepted the offer but I told the agent plenty times to please debit from my Capitec account because for the 2 existing lines my dad pays for that and his buying a house so nothing else can go off of his Absa account. I'm not sure what happened during the process but they tried to debit all from the Absa account which is my dad's and it declined. With that my father was very upset and he said I need to pay for all 4 lines because Telkom is gonna continue doing this to my account I know them. With that being said I could not afford 4 lines I called cell direct to cancel advising them that I cannot afford to pay for all 4 lines. They agreed after a long hard battle that they will collect the devices and cancel the contracts because it was still within 3 months and based on the fact that they made a mistake. A lady called me asking for my address. The next month when I called to follow up I spoke to a very rude man named Randal he said they changed their minds and they were not picking up the devices. Now telkom is constantly debitting late payment fees. Please I need help I am at my end with these contracts I cannot afford to pay so much I just need the 2 lines from cell direct canceled and the late payment fees from telkom reversed. I am now owing Telkom R26000!!! Please do not accept offers from this business!!! Icasa will now be involved!!!
