I purchased an Alliance comfee from Makro on28/11/2024. It was installed on 04/12/2024. Worked 1 month. On 4/01/2025 it stopped cooling. Makro was contacted on 8/01/20245 and a report was made. The supplier, Fourways Airconditioning was contacted by Makro and refused to credit me or replace the aircon. It is 1 month old. They want to repair it with a part from another aircon. A technician inpected the unit and reported to Fourways. Countless visits and calls to Makro Cornubia proved fruitless as no solution was found. This involved my cost i.r.o. petrol and unreturned telephone calls. On 27/01/2025 (20 days later); without any consideration for my inconvenience, a PC BOARD was replaced. Only to find that the aircon still does not cool. Further repairs are forthcoming. How long more? I have no faith in Makro, Fourways aironditioning and in an Alliance Comfee aircon.

Adele's service is on point, the AR4500 18k BTU works as expected and required, the provided installer (RightAir I think) was done immaculately and the electrical done by A&A Electronical was excellently done. Happy with each part of the experience

I was defrauded by an installer who Fourways sold their products to. He installed a smaller split unit but charged for the bigger unit I got a quote for. He also removed the sticker with the model details to hide his deception. I made numerous calls to Fourways. I even spoke to Natasha (? Gibson? A director at Fourways) who promised to get back to me but never did. I am sitting with an incorrect unit, I don't have any warranty documentation, my request from Fourways to assist with a duplicate warranty book and model number has been ignored. It is obvious Fourways don't vet their 'accredited' installers and are certainly not bothered that the end user has suffered financial damage. It would seem their management may have a sense of self importance not to bother to respond to a small customer. I would urge all end users who have had Alliance or Samsung units fitted where Fourways were the distributor, to look at their machines to ensure the correct ones were installed. I would suggest to potential customers not to use any products distributed by Fourways as they appear to lack a moral responsibility towards the end user. Fourways, in my opinion, as with other big businesses, don't care about the little man. I guess their bottom line is their overriding priority.

After ordering online I was actually contacted by a real human, via phone, whom confirmed stock availability and delivery date. Woha! A very busy day at the warehouse and my delivery was missed BUT it was organized to personally deliver my order, after hours and on a Friday. No issue. I was also contacted, by a human, via phone, on the Tuesday following, to affirm that everything was working and in good order. To Annelize, Joey and Mike at the Johannesburg branch, a very BIG Thank You. Under-promise and over-deliver. I can live with that.

It's the 28th January 2020 17:05, I am in traffic behind a fourways airconditioning truck number plate number CA640664 the person in the passenger seat has thrown out trash from the window, a 2 litre bottle,a coca cola can, some paper and another item, what is wrong with you? We are trying to keep South Africa clean and the you do something like that? Obviously you have no brains to clean up after yourself shame on you. What kind of country do you want to leave behind for your children, littering should be illegal. Just because you probably live in a ***sty doesn't mean we all want to as well.

Very Poor Service. From Elster and Sello. Sent a Unit for Repairs which was Dropped by Thier delivery guys on site. We notified them about this they failed to respond to us we later on wrote an Email to Sello and he said they are in shortage of staff to look at the Item he sold to our Company he refered us to eliester. We been calling them and they been saying they will get pack to us we had to drive 400km to their premisses only to hear them that they will look into the unit. Whiles making these calls elister kept hanging up on us . When we stated that we will complain and write a review about his Behavior he said okay . No remorse seen in this Man!!!!
